This is a very easy installation. Just needed to put ring connectors on and connect to leisure battery. Worked immediately. Then mounted into side of van for easy viewing. It can be switched on and off to save the battery as its powered off the battery it's connected to.Cheap and cheerful.

So far I have managed to set up the battery type for 12V LiPo (F04) and display works well showing 100% on fully charged battery. Somehow I managed to turn the display light off, that I want on.!! I managed to find you need to press the button on back when connecting supply. But it’s very complicated.Guess I will sort it out soon, then it will be useful.Much clearer setting instructions required.

A neat unit and good value for money in my opinion. When connected and lit a default condition displays a car battery's terminal voltage. Mine read 12.1. With just two buttons to change settings and a little ambiguity as to which button does what, and for how long to press it, it took a little time to change from a voltage indication to a % display. Other batteries can also be selected together with the number of cells. My requirement was for a car battery supplying the caravan type LED lighting in my garden chalet so I did not spend too long on the test bench trying things out. A nice unit will use others in time for sure.

I noticed my cars stop/ start function has stopped working at traffic lights (or when in neutral). This little beauty shows instant battery power. As soon as I switch the car ignition off it shows my battery drop to 50% then 15% on start up, then 100% when alternator kicks in.Basically it has shown me I needed a new battery for my car. It's interesting to see how much battery power a radio or heated seats consume battery power when the engine is not running and it alarms when battery drops to 20%. It's not often I give 5 stars, worth it just for the amusement.

Easy to fit ( although the hole you cut and the lip that sits over the hole is very small.. So cut accurately)Once connected.. Mine are up high in my motorhome showing the battery levels of the solar habitation battery and the engine battery( I have 2 fitted) they are quite difficult to read, you need to look at them squarely to see them properly..They are annoyingly bright... For some reason they turn themselves back on I've not noticed for what reason ( battery levels changing? ) Or if there's a timer, but it's seems a random time that the stay off for .... In the dark of night laid in bed they come back on is really annoying.... To my misses 😁..Handy to have fitted and to check that each or both batteries are getting charged.. Which I couldn't tell before..They are good. But if I could switch them off and stay off they would be brilliant..
