Best 1/8th scale buggy I've ever driven
I bought a used one a month ago and then my wife wanted one so I got her new one. These cars continue to amaze me. I have been downright abusive to mine and it keeps moving. Its been jumped 25ft in the air, dropped onto skate park ramps and slammed into concrete curbs and never misses a beat. Hers has been beat up a little with a new rc driver and it never stops. The battery life is amazing too. I run 6200mah 6s lipos and with hard driving it will run for 35 to 45 mins. I would advise upgrading to a fan cooler for the motor because it will get extremely hot. Also belted tires are a must. Great car, solid built and fun to drive.

RTR
This is a beast ! If you use this inside your house it will punch holes through the wall, well it almost will 😅 . Very fast and fun to use. 💯 RTR To 70 -80 mph with the 6s batteries. Not for little kids.

good basher
drove it on dirt grass and pavement, handled nicely. idk if i like the center diff but i can always lock it. crashed it a bunch but its still running fine. keep in mind that this is only around 3 batteries in, as in pairs. ran it on 4s and 6s, an i honestly prefer 4s because its much easier to control and still rips. will update the review in about a week.update: i left it outside overnight while it was wet and (of course) it rusted. luckily it not only came with the tools i didn't have, it is also very serviceable, even for a novice like me. arrma also has an exploded view of the car on their website, showing what goes where, and even integrated hyperlinks showing where to buy each displayed part. some couple hours of removing rust and reassembling, i was able to rebuild the entire car without so much as a hitch. 10/10 car and 11/10 repairability.

I needed this after experiencing the Grom version
I got the Typhon Grom and experience four wheel drive for the first time and was blown away! Hap to get the big brother! I’m running 4s and it’s fast! I’ll need a 6s battery at some point to get the full experience. I became an Arrma fanboy!

Good but…
Value for the price is there, but this thing is big, and really fast, if you do not have the space get something smaller, the screws that come with this car are not of the best quality, so be prepared to start replacing them soon, specially the one that go on the upper part of the front suspension, other than that the only other upgrade that is a must are the tires, the ones that come with the car are good, but there are much better options out there

Fun hobby grade RC!
These are hobby grade r.c. cars (not cheap junk) and are a lot of fun. I highly suggest purchasing a set of M&P hex drivers and learning how to maintain the R.C. You tube is your friend here. Maintenance and breakage is part of the hobby and fun. Knowing that going in may save someone some frustration. I highly recomend the hobby and arrma. Arrma customer sevice has been helpfull for warrenty issues as well ( only one). I have a typhon and kraton.
