These are just what I needed to bring my garage door up to hurricane code. The new wind mitigation codes require 5 brackets on each track, and my old door only had 3, so I purchase two of these sets. This set has two different size brackets - the shorter one goes near the bottom where the track is closer to the wall, and the longer one goes near the top where the track is beginning to curve away from the wall. The track had holes for the bottom one already, but had to drill a hold in the side of the track for the top ones. Installed in about a half hour and I'm now up to code.

Good heavy gauge product. higher quality than the "big box"stores sell.

Had a worker crush my garage door track and in turn ruined the old brackets. This was a quick fix and priced right.

I ordered these to replace dammaged track on a 7x9 garage door expecting all door hangers to be the same size, these must be for a thin door??? lesson learned, use parts from the door mfg. that you need,

They're sold as galvanized angle brackets for garage door vertical tracks. They come as a #1 and a #3 bracket - which makes one a little longer than the other - as it should be. Unfortunately, they were not quite long enough. My original garage door rail was bent and needed to be replaced and it had the brackets spot welded in place. In order to fasten these to my new rail, I had to drill the rail to line up with a mounting hole on the bracket. This was due to the slot in the bracket not being long enough to allow the supplied bolt to pass through the factory-punched holes in the new rail. These are supposedly standard, but my garage is 60 years old - so it may be the reason for the mismatch. I probably could have bought something that would do the job for less but assumed this would just simply "go together".
