Excellent quality and so versatile!
I love this storage cabinet! It arrived very efficiently packaged, and was relatively easy to assemble for what you’re getting. Like I would recommend for all furniture/equipment assembly, slow down, focus on the instructions, and know that the manual often covers assembly for a couple different models with only a slight difference. It is easy to figure out if you read the manual. With a piece of furniture with moving parts, it takes some time to assemble. This one took me about 2 hours. As far as the quality and functionality, this cabinet is so versatile. The longer I have it, the more I am realizing how functional it is. I purchased it to hold my art, craft, and stationary supplies. It is perfect for that. In addition, I have used it as a rolling tabletop for a variety of things, such as crafting, painting, and even as a sewing machine table for when I need to do a quick mend or project. The materials are of high quality and it is very sturdy. The dimensions match the description. It’s precisely designed and the drawers and doors match up perfectly. It is stylish. I love it.

Sturdy, stylish and functional cabinet - Great buy!
This is a great purchase. It's sturdy and looks great. It's DIY assembly furniture, and for the money it's a great value. Building it was long and tedious but not terrible. If you have weak hand grip, be ready. My hands are sore from building it (medium size hands, female, above average fitness) but finished strong. I particularly appreciated that the rails came pre installed, since some reviews said that was the most confusing part. I also appreciated that the number of screws were exact, I hate leftovers since it makes me think I had missed a step or two. Be careful to not lose any. I had to guard mine from a very curious and eager to help(?) cat. To me, the instructions were short, concise yet sufficient. Everything fit pretty well with exception of a few screws and that's to be expected with building furniture but with a little care and insight, a few pushes and adjustments made it fit well. One thing to note, the advertised measurements were correct but wish they displayed the inside of the storage dimensions too. I carefully measured my items before I made the purchase and while the dimensions were correct, the inside dimensions were a tad smaller than what I had anticipated. Still usable but wish there was a quarter of an inch more space inside. Only one complaint, the quality of the wheels can be better. They're kinda stuck and hard to move around. I'll try some WD40 and see if that'll help. Keeping my fingers crossed. Otherwise, very happy with my purchase. Based on previous reviews, seems like the company made some upgrades to make your life easier so kudos to them. Thanks for listening to us.

Great cabinet, take your time when installing the rollers for the drawers.
Love this cabinet, very good looking and stable. Going to definitely meet my needs in my craft room. I bought 4! My only concern is about the instructions. Everything was clearly marked with the exception of the rollers for the drawers. It takes a minute to get them right since they are not individually labeled. Otherwise I would recommend.

Winsome 3 section Cabinet Review and Commentd
I am very happy with this cabinet and I will probably buy a smaller one too. Just not sure wproducts. Once again Winsome came through in Spades. The product was well packaged, not a ding or scratch. It gets a 5 star because of the product quality. I would actually vote 4.5 because of the quality of the assembly instructions. The wood product peices were each labeled. Note that some were labeled on the unfinished edge, when you are checking parts. The hardware items were labeled and in their own plastic pouches. Winsome does not usually give you extras, so watch that you don't drop them. One video I watched did not follow the instruction sheet and used the wrong screws in the wrong places. Another video did not follow the instruction sheet and put the parts together backwards. This can be avoided if you are diligent. It is difficult to remove the lock screws once tightened so you want to avoid do overs if podsible Before starting I took the time to dry fit the parts and review what vids i could find for similar Winsome products. You need a small head Philips screw driver and a flat head screw driver. You need a hammer. Thats all. I used a ratcheting screw driver. I put the entire price together sitting at my work table except for assembling the top panel and the wheels Tips: I recommend locating where all the lockout screws go and installing them before trying to assemble. Its much easier if gravity helps. Comments: The instruction sheet is not very easy to understand. It is written fir the professional and not a DIYer. Steps are skipped and this can cause problems if you are not carefull. That being said, thanks so much to those who took the time to make vids and post on UTube. Winsome, you would be even more appreciated if you would create an post an assembly vid for your priductd.

Functional Inexpensive Storage Unit
Packing was good and delivery was quick. Comes in many many pieces that are well marked (look for it on the edges) and organized. Directions are clear and relatively easy to understand (be mindful of the orientation of parts when assembling - counting holes and paying attention to where the long slot for the bottom piece fits is essential as well as keeping the glide wheels in the correct position.) Expect to assemble for a couple hours if you don't have an extra pair of hands helping and a bit longer if you don't use a power driver (be gentle and don't over tighten.). Quality is exceptional for the price tag if you catch the sale -- $60 - $100 LESS than several competitors selling exact same product. All drawers and door lined up nicely flush and operate smoothly (bottom drawer is a bit sticky but not an issue.) There was one tiny nick on the top (easy to conceal with a dot of white paint) but otherwise looks great and functions as expected with plenty of storage to organize and access items neatly and easily. Casters roll smoothly over hard surfaces and a little stiffer and slower over rugs and carpeting. Overall a satisfying purchase. Lots of bang for under $120. delivered.

Seems like great stand for printer
UPDATE (8/30/2025) As I suspected when I originally wrote this review a little more than two years ago, the cheap plastic wheels that come with this unit are junk. They break VERY easily, under normal use, just rolling it on laminate flooring. Fortunately, they are easy to replace. I got some caster wheels from a well known retailer of assorted items that probably have harbors around the world through which they import freight. At 1 5/8" diameter, they're slightly bigger than the stock ones, but MUCH better built. These units should come with these better wheels, which I got for only $2/each. See my updated pictures for examples of these easy to install wheels. They install using the stock screws, you just need to drill new holes. INTRO I bought this because I am desperate for storage space for cables, various pieces and parts and other "project" type stuff. I got this specific unit to use mostly as a printer stand because it matches the 5-drawer unit I got to go under my desk and the two 7-drawer units I got for cables and such. It was 33% off the list price of $240, and I paid $159.63. I also got the 5-drawer and two 7-drawer units: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B006WYUQDY?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details https://www.amazon.com/dp/B006WYUQ8Y?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details PRICING: I think the price is only slightly high for what you get. This is basically a 5-drawer unit with smaller drawers and a storage cabinet built into it. Based on that, I figure it should sell for about 85% of two 5-drawer units, which would be $133. I paid $160, so 20% over-priced, relative to what I paid for a 5-drawer stand-alone unit. Anyway - aside from that...quality is OK. Tolerances are a little loose - so things are not lined up perfectly. There's a bit too much spacing/slop in the drawers for my taste. Given the quality, I think $120 would be more reasonable for this unit. GENERAL COMMENTS: The drawers are shallow height, and shallow depth (compared to the cabinet) so they hold a lot less than you probably want. They also doesn't hold anything with much height, such as a small 3 oz can of spray paint, which is a real bummer. So for arts & crafts and projects like that, these drawers are probably not ideal. For holding 8.5" x 11" papers in two stacks side by side, they won't work. For storage of things like computer cables, various electronics gadgets, pencils and staplers and office kinds of things, they're OK. This unit is a rolling unit. The wheels are cheap plastic, but it rolls OK on my hardwood floor. Would probably suck on carpet. To my surprise and delight, I discovered that the wheels do have "locks" on them, so you can lock it into position to keep it from moving. Handy if you wanted to use the surface for a work table or something. The drawers slide OK for what they are. They don't really "lock in" so they will want to slide out if you roll the unit around much. This unit could be greatly improved if the drawers had better retention, so you had to more actively slide them out, with a little effort. You could probably paint this unit if you wanted to. Would be kind of a PITA. I'd recommend scuffing the entire surface to be painted, for better adhesion. I would also recommend doing it before assembly, and using a sprayer or roller, rather than a paint brush. Unit could use a handle on the front, so give you something to grab on to when rolling it. Side would work, but for my use case, front would be better since it is under my desk facing forward. I will probably acquire a handle and install it when I get some time. IMPROVEMENTS NEEDED: First, the drawers for all of these Winsome Halifax Storage/Organization pieces are shorter than the cabinets. There is room in the cabinets to make the drawers another 2" deeper (toward the wall), but they don't do so. I don't understand why. Either make the drawer deeper or the cabinet shorter. Secondly, the width of these drawer units should be a little wider, so they can handle two reams of paper side by side. As it is, you can put one ream of paper in, and then have space on one side of it that isn't useful for much. I'd love to be able to put in a second ream of paper, or even stack standard size printouts side by side. The product would be so much better if they just added a few inches to the unit's width. That is less of an issue since this unit does have the larger storage area. That's not wide enough to put two reams of paper next to each other either. You CAN put it on its end, and get a lot of paper in that way. However, the top hole for the adjustable shelf is JUST SLIGHTLY too high to allow you to put the shelf on the highest setting and still put a ream of paper on its side into the unit. That's a shame because if this is what you want to use it for, you have to put the shelf on the second highest setting, wasting space that could be used for the under shelf area. This kinds of details and thoughtfulness are helpful when designing products. Third, the drawers need some "retention" so they snap closed and don't open when you roll the units. The drawers would be more useful if they had a little more height, so you could store slightly larger things in them. They are 3.75" high and should be more like 4.5" high (or even 5"). BUILDING THE UNITS: As an experienced DIY person, it took me 1 hour and 24 minutes to build this. That includes unboxing/unpacking it, sorting out all the parts, throwing away all packaging and boxes to the trash outside and then actually building the unit. Yesterday it took me about 2 hours to build the 5-drawer unit. Earlier today, I built two 7-drawer units in 1 hour and 9 minutes each. So I had plenty of experience building this kind of unit before I built this one. The instructions SUCK! They're the typical "no words, only pictures" type of instructions. Plus, nothing was labeled. In the pictures, they show part "A" or "B" or whatever, but the pieces themselves are not labeled. You have to keep referring back to the parts list and figure out which part is which. Even pre-sorting the stuff doesn't help much. The biggest issue was that in the very first step, the picture shows one thing, but then they show a measurement to go by. The information conflicts. What are you supposed to do? Here's a hint. Ignore the whole "16mm" thing entirely. Just do what the PICTURE shows, which is using the SECOND HOLE on the metal part on the front. It won't come out to 16mm from the front of the cabinet, but that's OK. They should just delete the "16 mm" part because all it does is add confusion. For the reason above - I ended up skipping this part of the instructions and went to building the drawers first. DEFECTIVE PARTS: This unit came with two defective wheels that keep the unit from sitting on the floor level. I didn't want to wait the 7-14 day lead time to get replacement parts, so I had to report the product as defective and get a replacement from Amazon, which only takes two days.

A great compact storage unit
The truth is that this is time-consuming and moderately challenging to put together, but all the parts and pieces were there with easy to follow pictorial instructions. It took about an hour to assemble. Most importantly, it’s a great value. The drawers are really useful and give you a lot of storage in a compact design. The corners are sharp, so I recommend getting stick on silicone corner protectors to protect yourself and to avoid damaging the storage unit.

The instructions are useless
The assembly instructions for this cabinet are almost completely useless. There are many, many pieces, and NONE of them are labeled. How hard would it have been to put little stickers like A, B, or C on the pieces and the myriad tiny bags of hardware? The pages of the instructions are 8-1/2 x 11 and stapled together. All one gets is pictures. No description, no actual instructions. It literally took me 45 minutes to figure out which piece was which of the top, bottom, and sides. All I had to go on was comparing placement of holes in the picture to the pieces. I labeled them myself with a marker. The drawer rails are bundled not with all the same kinds together, but with one of each taped together. My daughter finally helped me put the cabinet together, and the pictures were so bad that it took her over an hour to figure out how the drawer rails worked. Also, the hardware to hold the shelves is the wrong size and falls right out. Once we finally got the cabinet built, it looks nice, and seems quite sturdy. But the incredible frustration of building it, right now, overshadows everything else about this cabinet.
