I was so excited to add these to a wedding favor gift. They look so pretty. Sadly I didn’t read the fine print that they are WRAPPED in gold foil not painted. I thought they were painted for that price. I had to make little tags to let people know they must be unwrapped before eating. The almond inside is a matte beige color not a shiny white. The crunch was good. I guess the wrapping keeps it fresh. Also there were only 78 pieces in one package and 77 in the other. The package says 13 servings and with 8 pieces per serving (which is stated on the back) I should have about 104. I know it is sold by weight but that count is way off. I bought white almonds from another vendor and the number of almonds in the bag matched the label. Pretty to look at but packaging is misleading and foil is a hassle to remove. I would not buy again and can’t recommend.

There were supposed to be 90+ items in each bag, but when portioning them out for wedding favors there were less than 80 per bag. I was not able to provide as many in each favor bag as planned. This is a significant number less than the portion stated on the bag label. Keep this in mind when ordering as only about 75% of the stated amount is there in each bag.

I’m giving these 2 stars because once I finally got the foil off the actual candy was delicious. I wish I would have researched more on this item because I was expecting painted gold Jordan almonds. I actually didn’t even notice these were not edible until i tried to eat it because the are wrapped so tight. They look pretty. And yea if you want a foil wrapped Jordan almond then you’re in the right place. But I’m disappointed In the nameOf this item. They obviously want us to think they might be edible so we buy them. But it should state they are foil wrapped in the name. Or should I just now assume all your Jordan almonds are just wrapped in a colored foil?

These candies have a really thin layer of gold colored foil like product wrapped around each piece. Not a pretty pocture trying to peel the foil off just to enjoy the treat. Too much work.

When I ordered these I thought the almonds would've been dipped in gold colored candy but they're actually wrapped in gold foil. They look great and are well wrapped but to make sure guest weren't popping them in their mouths wrapped I didn't mix them with the other unwrapped candies in the favors. I wish there was more in the bag for the price but overall they worked

These Jordan Almonds are a tradition to be used at events in my 86-year-old mom's life... She had me order these for my niece's baby shower. They are wrapped in gold foil (which is different from the Jordan Almonds used in the past). This wrapping allowed for safety while using the communal bowl and allowed us to scatter them all around the dessert table. They're gorgeous and mom is happy!!!
