Finally stopped the "Out of Memory" nightmares!
I bought this kit because I was about to throw my PC out the window. I’m doing a lot of AI work lately—running local models and stuff—and my old setup was basically a paperweight. If you're into AI projects, you know: memory is everything. I was torn between the "Premium" version and this £189.69 "Dual Rank" kit. Why is the one labeled "Premium" actually cheaper? I honestly don't know, and Amazon’s pricing is a total fever dream. I went with this one because I read that Dual Rank (the 2Rx8 thing on the sticker) handles heavy data lifting better. The "Why 2666MHz?" Part I know, I know - it’s 2026 and everyone is screaming about higher speeds. But my motherboard manual specifically recommended 2666MHz, and I didn't want to deal with the headache of buying faster RAM only for it to be throttled or, worse, make my system unstable. (Wait, does my CPU even support higher? I actually don't know, and at this point, I'm too afraid to ask). It’s better to have it run impeccably well at the right speed than to crash at a "faster" one. The Install (A.K.A. The Mini Heart Attack) Putting these in is always the worst. These Timetec sticks don't have those fancy metal covers, so you’re basically pressing your thumbs directly onto the circuit board. I had to push so hard I thought I heard a crack. It was just the plastic clip snapping into place, but I definitely held my breath for a second. I actually messed up at first and put them in the wrong slots. My PC booted, but it felt weirdly slow. I realized I’m an idiot—my board wants them in specific slots to run in "Dual Channel" mode. Once I swapped them? Night and day difference. Real World Use for AI The Lag is Gone: I can finally load a decent-sized model and actually use my computer at the same time. Before, even moving my mouse felt like it was moving through honey. Multitasking: I usually have my IDE, a local server, and about 40 Chrome tabs open. This 32GB kit doesn't even sweat. Compatibility: Even though the listing mentions brands like Dell or HP, it worked perfectly in my custom rig. The "Eh" Parts £189 is a lot of money for two little pieces of green and black plastic. My bank account is definitely mad at me. Also, they are very plain-looking—no RGB lights or anything - but since my case doesn't have a window, I don't really care. Bottom Line: If you're tired of your AI scripts crashing because you ran out of "desk space" for your data, just get these. Stick to what your motherboard recommends (like I did with the 2666MHz) and save yourself the troubleshooting drama.

I ordered these modules 4 months ago and they worked OK for a while - then 1 of the modules failed - I have tried to contact the supplier to find out about warranty/replacement but they do not respond
