The case is very nice looking and thin, yet seemingly durable. It for the phone exactly and the raised edges add extra protection. As the vendor stated, it is very smooth and slick. There are times I feel the case (phone installed) sliding out of my hand and I have to regrip. That is the only concern I have, but it may not be an issue for some people. There are also two small protrusions on the bottom right of the case that do not interfere with it's use; it is unclear to me why they are there.

I always try to find the thinnest TPU phone case I can that has enough of a raised edge around the screen to accommodate a glass screen protector and keep it from touching surfaces when laid face down. I've bought many different brand cases that have served me just fine and protected my phones through many drops. The X-level does all that but is just nicer in many ways than anything I've used before.It's a slightly thinner and lighter material, the texture feels really nice (as they say in the description, "like the baby skin", haha), there are no seams from when it is molded, and the shape all around makes it more comfortable to hold. I tend to hold my phones with the bottom, resting on my pinky. Many cases have a recessed notch around the usb plug and bottom speakers with semi-sharp edges. Those edges pressing into the side of my pinky becomes very uncomfortable after a short while. I often take a razor blade and try to round out those sharp edges, with varying success. Because the X-level is rounded all the way around the sides, it does not have this problem at all and my pinky is much happier now. I highly recommend this case for anyone that's looking for all around protection in a very thin case.

This case fits well with the Pixel 4a 5G. It gives a nice lip around the screen and cameras so that when placed down it won't run on the surface you're putting it on. It is also tempered glass screen protector friendly.The power and volume rockers are covered well and they're responsive to every click.The cut outs for the fingerprint scanner, speakers, mics, USB-C port and headphone jack are well-aligned.If I have to fault it's construction, is that it's a tad slippery to hold to. So it's as though you didn't even put a case at all. It has the same sheerness of Pixel 4a 5G body.Overall, I've been very satisfied with X-Level cases. I've used them in many devices for several years now if I want something that's light, easy to take on/off, durable and reasonably priced.

Well the fact that I'm still able to use a Pixel 4a-5G in late 2024 must mean that this case protected it pretty well. This was actually the second case I purchased. The first case had more protection on the corners, and it was clear, which was nice. However, the "clear" turned out to be an issue for that one as after about a year, it yellowed and got dirty and ugly-looking. At that point I switched to this case, and it has remained looking good ever since. The buttons feel and push well through the case, and all the holes are in the right places. Occasionally a bit of dirt builds up on it, but it is easily removed with an alcohol swab or even just by scraping it a bit with a fingernail.

Best phone case ever. So thin it's like wearing nothing at all.... Has enough of a lip to protect the screen but otherwise almost unnoticeable. Highly recommend unless you like a bulky case

This is a really nice case. It's firm enough to give decent bump protection. I've survived one (accidental) drop onto a hardwood floor from my lap while sitting down but that's the only test I have. Didn't crack my screen protector so I'm happy. It has a decent little bump around the edges and camera bezel, so you shouldn't make contact with surfaces when putting it down.I have big hands so the grip may be a bit easier for me. It is prone to sliding if left at an angle due to the softish matte texture.

I have very strong very mixed feelings about this case.First of the pros.It is super thin and I do not believe you could possibly have a thinner case that actually gives you a modicum of protection. It also does feel very smooth. And to top it off it looks pretty sharp.Now the cons.The case probably doesn't provide very good protection in case of a fall. There is essentially no cushioning. But I guess that is part of the bargain of having it be so slim. It also is very soft and silky feeling indeed. And that is the reason I am no longer using it. I found that you have less friction and less ability to hold the phone with this case than with no case at all. Twice in one day it literally just slipped out of my fingers.Overall I am sure there are people who would enjoy this case. And I can't deny it's the best looking case I found for my phone. However, in my judgment I'm better off with no case at all since this offers very little protection and seems to increase the chance that you will drop your phone.

I purchased this cover mainly to protect the back of the phone and allow a good grip on the phone. All the phones I have owned scratch and scuff easily on the back and are slippery. This soft cover does both things well with minimal bulk. In addition it provides some drop protection, rear camera protection with a lip that protrudes above the camera area, and screen protection when the phone is placed on the front with front edges that are slightly above the screen. A bonus is the on/of switch is easy to activate thru the cover. All other covers I have owned are very stiff in this area. I have been using if for a month now and it shows no signs of wear. Really pleased with this cover.
