I just got this 4000 series reel (Piscifun Viper X Spinning Reel). This is after reading reviews of other reels. I have owned many different manufacturers. Although I have yet to fish with this reel, I can already feel the smoothness of the retrieval. The weight is inline with other reels that sell for much more, and it has a great color to it (green). It's lined with 12lb mono for Striper Fishing. I will update this review once the line has been in the water and the reel has some actual casts on it. So far so good. The shipping on this reel was fast, and the packaging was excellent for protection. I will most certainly purchase from this seller in the future. Again, another review is forthcoming.

This is my second Pacifun reel purchase after hearing about how good quality they are. I must say I am thoroughly impressed. For a micro light reel it's just perfect. I have spent well over $150 on reels that never felt this Good. Ultra smooth super lightweight. I'm running six pound braid. It casts a mile. No line twist and a good drag.

I TELL YOU WHAT!! This beauty right here is an absolute stud of a reel! I’ve had cheap and expensive reels in my lifetime and I’m here to tell you the 1000 and 2000 series are just as legit as my $200 shimano Stradic reel I can promise u that. Only thing that is different from Viper to Stradic is the Stradic drag sings sweet love songs to me.. but Vipers drag is awesome. GET YOURSELF ONE NOW!

I bought this reel for my wife to use. I took it out today to see how it matched up to a new rod. All seems well. For an inexpensive reel, it casted nicely and the drag felt smooth. The bail kicks back easily. The retrieve was very smooth and silent but unfortunately, not catching anything, I didn't get to load test it. :)My one knock on it is that it is the only reel I own that does not have a lever to disengage the one-way clutch. My wife will often accidently crank the lure too far in. On the old reels, she knows to flip the lever and let a little line out. She'll have to get used to this one.I was surprised Piscifun did not include the lever function on this reel as even the next lower model series (Flame) includes it. Certainly not a major issue, just letting you all know in case like me, you didn't look closely at the photos before ordering.

Amazing reel at a good price, easy transaction, I would highly recommend.
