Bought thiw brand for the first time, for my Ficus bonsais first repot.Mixture feels really good.Quality ingredients, almost zero fines and dust.Waters well,Holds enough moisture but doesn't keep the roots soggy.In the two weeks since repotting. My bonsai hasEXPLODED with growth! I'm definitely buying more of this brand for my other Bonsai.

Before repotting, it was struggling with yellowing leaves and excessive leaf drop. Just two weeks after switching to this soil, the tree is bursting with bright green foliage and growing like crazy.The larger soil particles provide excellent drainage, which is especially important since I live in a rainy area. This is a good bonsai soil mix for all the types of trees that I have even for succulents. I have used it for ficus, junipers, jade, Chinese plum and Chinese elms and all have thrived and grown tremendously.

Actually no soil in this at all. I hope using it hasn’t killed the bonsai plant I repotted.
