This is the best sunscreen. Goes on easily and protects you from the sun.

Every year when I go to Destin Florida for a week vacation I always purchase Bull Frog Quik Gel. Every year I am amazed that I can apply this stuff ONCE in the morning and it will last 8 hours easily. I am extremely active on the beach - competitive volleyball, swimming in the ocean, and of course relaxing in the sun. I ordered 4 bottles because previous reviewers indicated that it takes a lot to cover themselves. I was on the beach 7 days, applied to my whole body (aside from face) and I'm 6' 2" - I didn't even go through ONE bottle!! If you are using this up quickly then you are not applying sunscreen correctly! It is QUICK DRYING GEL, so take a small amount and *quickly* rub it on (seriously, like 10 seconds or less!). It is NOT like ordinary suncreens where you have to rub for 5 minutes to get it to absorb and dry. If you rub too much it will indeed begin to flake off. Yes, this does leave you glistening a bit. Because I walk to the beach shirtless and stay that way all day it never bothered me at all. But I probably wouldn't apply this stuff and then put on a nice shirt (but who wears nice shirts to the beach with sunscreen anyway?) All in all this is the perfect sunscreen for beach or lake users! *Note* I do NOT use this on my face (I have sensitive skin/can be acne prone). I used Bullfrog Ultimate Sheer Protection Sunblock Face Spf 30, which I also reviewed...AWESOME!

I've tried NUMEROUS sunblocks from all across the board, La roche, clear zinc ones, mostly Neutrog## ones.. and they have ALL sweated out or left white residue.However, after reading all the 5 star reviews on this stuff, I purchased it and took a risk.. Now, I tan EASILY, and I also get sunburnt, but the main reason to get a good sunscreen is because of the UVA rays..I am into anti aging etc..Lemme,get to the point! This stuff works amazing. I put it on, and go out in the sun for a few hours...Mind you this is the TEXAS sun, and near Houston where we are the 3rd hottest most humid places in the UNITED States. To put it simply, you will sweat within 5 minutes of stepping out your door. and the sun is like a Powerful laser beam aiming RIGHT at you with little to no clouds to help you out. This is for MONTHS. So I advise you get a good sunscreen and use it frequently if you wish to avoid early wrinkles, cancer, and sunburn. If you live in this area. anyways, I stay out for hours and this stuff STAYS on, and protects ALL day without having to reapply. No other sunscreen that I know of, does that. Except for the (Wet Skin from N, the spray that is high spf).But this stuff is even more durable in the sweat. For example, today I applied, went walking a bout a mile, Worked out, walked another half mile, (Sweating BULLETS) went to someone's house, hooked up, (thinking it all rubbed off), came back home, and took a nap, went to wash up, and the sunscreen was STILL ON. THAT'S how durable it is. No burning, no red, not even the slightest of tan after weeks of using this. Need I say more?

I searched for this sunscreen because Consumer Reports gave it one of the highest ratings of all the lotion sunscreens they tested, second only to La Roche-Posay which is almost 3 times the cost. This is not a brand that's easy to find in stores. I'm so glad I found it on Amazon for a reasonable price. I absolutely love the gel formula. It is so easy to apply and leaves no film or sticky residue. Virtually every lotion sunscreen I've tried that gets good reviews takes forever to rub in and leaves a white film. This gel is clear and not the least bit greasy so it's great to use on your face as well as body, even if you have oily, acne prone skin. I don't understand why more companies don't offer gel sunscreens. I've been using spray sunscreens because I hate the heavy white lotions. I love the sprays but the problem is it's impossible not to breath in some of the fumes which I'm sure cannot be healthy, so this is a great alternative.

i use Bullfrog Landsport Quickgel 50+ for cycling for riides up to 15 hours. Using Bullfrog I have never had sunburn after only one application before the ride. I like it because it after application it is pretty much dry and does not feel oily or cause a feeling of sweating. The only drawback is that is is kind of sticky out of the bottle so you need to wash your hands well, with soap after application. After that it just disappears on the skin and is not noticeable at all during the ride.

We took our two small children abroad and knew that we would be in the pool most of the day and visiting water parks for whole day stretches at a time. We began our search for a sun protection cream and bought this product. Thank goodness we found it. It has a nice gel consistency and a pale green colour, so not only does it not drip off your hands or kids bodies but the colour helps you know where you have applied it. It goes on well and dries really quickly. Someone has described it as greasy but I didn't find that. You can see it on the skin but that is the same with all sun lotions. The first time we used it I was a little on edge, thinking what if it doesn't work and the kids burn. Thankfully this lotion did not let us down. We followed the instructions and reapplied every 80minutes I believe and all was well. They never burnt and considering that we were in and out of water all day long this was a huge relief to me I can recommend this sun protection to all!

This stuff is fantastic. Rubs in really easily, as it's a gel, so no nasty white smears. On top of that, it's waterproof, so provides protection for a good long time even when doing watersports like surfing or kayaking. I swear by it.

Fast drying, quick to apply, lasts pretty much until it is washed with soap. Never burnt with Bull Frog applied and used it when already well on the way to being burnt and was "saved" by this great product.

Can I give 6 stars? Would if I could!! Perfect for my son and he is in water 8 hors a day. One application first thing and one after lunch is all you need. The only day he went a bit red was when I used another brand. Love it!!

Excellent stuff. Dries instantly so don't rub back and forth too much or it will rub off.
