I ordered this hat to replace the one that came with my son's Judy Hops costume. He is 5 and has an average to large head. The hat only covers half of his ears and kept falling off when he was running. The ears did stay up way better than the hat that came with the costume and was a lot cuter too. I just with it would have come down a bit further in the back.
