Bought these on a deal and used a few times so far and seem good quality. Saves paying a tree surgeon to trim my hedge every year so easily pays for itself.

Despite this coming with the chainsaw adaptor head, nowhere in the product description explains that you will need to purchase chain oil separately. The hedge trimmer is good, although it struggles with anything more than about 1cm thick. Plenty of reach and not too unwieldy.

Absolutely amazing. Fantastic quality and high quality plastic. I spent all afternoon cutting hedges and pruning numerous items. I also used the saw to cut through a number of stumps and logs....i looked at my 5ah battery and it still had 30% left

I have had both the dedicated hedgetrimmer and now the polesaw/hedgetrimmer. Neither one worked out of the box. The issue is that they tighten the bolts/screws to an extent where the blades won’t move. Hardly beneficial for the consumer. If you don’t mind stripping everything back to loosen off the blades then the tool is great. If you don’t want to have to do this then make sure you move on to another product/brand. Murray, you need to sort this out!

The product is heavy at the end which makes using exhausting. The weight needs to be better distributed so it's not so taxing to use. I was also hoping I could use as a hand held trimmer without the telescoping pole, but its designed to prevent that, which I don't understand the reason other than money making as youll need to purchase another trimmer for handheld closer cuts

Bought this as have other Murray tools. I also have the hand held hedge trimmer which is great. This one however is not so good. Very easy to install and both saw and hedge trimmer work fine. The main issue is one of balance. The tools are at the end of a long pole and are heavy. At the other end is just a battery. Even with the heaviest battery (5ah), it is way too top heavy and really difficult to use for more than a few seconds. I have a petrol powered Stihl system with similar attachments. Whilst it is much heavier, it is also better balanced and is still my tool of choice.

Bought a few years ago, used a handful of times and the plastic split on the Hedge Trimmer adjustment, you can forget the 5 year warranty as the Website sends you round in circles, also have a hand Hedge Trimmer that has stopped working. I maybe forced into buying a full kit just to replace one part. I definitely would not consider the Murray Brand again.
