As someone who went fishing on boats and on piers, this kit is thoughtfully put together to have everything needed for little kids beginning their fishing adventures. I especially liked the foldable seat and the fishing pole holder + bell accessory that is sure to make the experience more enjoyable for little kids just starting out with fishing. Of course, the parent will need to help the kids when putting on the bait and getting the fish out of the hook when its caught, and those will be part of the bonding experiences.Quality: the fishing pole was of good quality and the other accessories were all nicely made. I liked how the fishing spool mechanism is covered so that kids won't get their hands cut by the taut wire while reeling the fish in. The foldable seat is very sturdy and my kid felt comfy sitting on it. She also liked the weight and feel of the fishing pole and how she could "throw" the bait while pushing the the thumb button.Guide pamphlet: unlike many other items that I see on Amazon, the guidebook was written with care and without the usual typos that you see on many of the imitation knock off products out there.I appreciated how the maker put a lot of effort into creating the product and the guide.

Garbage the whole lot of it. the bag was torn right out the box. Then we figured well we can buy a new bag n. Took the kit n my daughter fishing... Or tried to. The damn fishing pole didn't work😡 like at all! The button wouldn't push n the steering wouldn't budge. 100% waist of $. The only thing usable was the little chair n when I say little I mean little we thought it might be for my daughter's doll considering the size.

My little 3 year old grandson (and his dad) love the fishing set. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5* rating, is because the chair broke after the first use. But they promptly sent a replacement! Everything else is incredible! Adult supervision is needed because of the authenticity. It’s not a toy, but a miniature version of the real thing.

Great starter kit for kids, compact and lightweight. Our son and daughter are very excited to have their own fishing gear and it's a great motivation for them to get out into nature. We're getting extra sets for our nieces too.

Disappointed if you have a kid over eight don’t buy this. It’s ok for beginners lots of stuff inside.

I opened case and this is the saddest "chair" I have ever seen. It's so tiny. My 8 yr old put her doll on it. Thats all its good for. So far all other parts like the pole and net are good and for that I kept it but if your going on a trip like I was and thought you'd have to take one less kid chair, you'd be wrong.

Doesn't retract. I literally extended it once and I couldn't get it to retract. What good is that? The whole purpose is to be able to keep it in the carrying case so we can go pier fishing on vacation. Returning!

This rod broke on the first fish my son caught. This is not a real fishing rod and easily will fall apart and break after the first use. Sure it looks nice and the kids like it but it is cheaply made and not of good quality. Do not buy this for your kids if you are actually going to catch real fish.

Do not purchase this rod.Spin cast does not reel back, spring inside broke on first try.Cheap plastic, will snap on small fish.Worth $10. Very disappointed & unhappy as this was a gift.
