MagLite ML300LX LED 3-Cell D Display Box

I've owned MagLites for years and more often then not I have been disappointed. The switches were often faulty and they just did not put out a good beam. The MagLite ML300LX is a dream flashlight that thus far surpasses all the MagLites I have owned in the past. The brightness is superb. It can't be duplicated by upgrading my old MagLites. There are different modes, however, I keep it on the brightest mode and so far it is the best flashlight I have ever used.

Outstanding MagLite ML300XL that will make you a believer in long lasting and bright light. It's amazing how far one can see with the brightest setting will allow you to view in the dark. You can change the setting and make it a wider view also which is handy if you need to see a certain area in a hurry. We love the color also, it's tan and very easy to hold onto. Spent a bit more than we wanted but are now satisfied that it was the best thing we did for uses. MagLites are so dependable that they are worth more.

Multiple D batteries is old technology, heavy, clumsy, bulky.No it’s not a club.Great flashlights like Weltool & Nitcore are around 5” long run off 1 battery or two max and have more light.Eco mode is worthless no one wants a longer lasting light at the expense of light itself. Dimming for longer battery is self defeating. I want maximum light and I’ll recharge the batteries when they get weak.Strobe Feature is a silly gimmick, . there is no lasting disorientated effects. Geeky new feature which quickly gets unused.If mag wants to wow put a Bluetooth WiFi link so a household can know the battery state of all lights in the home - even in the go bagsMore light not longer lasting dull (eco mode)

This torch is very bright - very handy for climbing around in an attic or digging around in the basement. It worked reliably for about 9 months and then in the last couple of months I have been starting to have problems. It will randomly turn off after turning it on. Sometimes it will last 15 minutes before turning off, other times only 15 seconds. Sometimes it will only turn on in the lowest settings (instead of the brightest) and when this happens I cannot change the intensity - three toggles and it just turns off. The torch is kept inside (no severe weather) and was not mistreated (dropped/submerged/etc.). I replaced the batteries and verified that the contacts inside were not dirty. I estimate I've used the torch for less than 200 hours. I would return it if I could since the reason I bought a Mag-lite was supposedly the durability.

This is a great lite. Lighter than my other maglites. Button sequence is not hard to use. Good powerful full power lite.

This sucker is bright. I normally wouldn't pay this price for a flashlight, but I got sick and tired of buy $10-20 flashlights, and still needing more light. I searched around and found the ML300LX. It feels good in my hand, and feels like it could take a lot of abuse. I use it primarily around the house, but will probably buy one for my Jeep.

Good light; batteries rattle inside, focus not quite as sharp as other ML300 lights that I have.

Best mag light made, only way to go for a quality product!!! Have had all the older ones this is even better

The torch is brilliant like ALL my Maglite. Some have failed but I let them go and move on, mainly due to substantial period of use. HOWEVER, this unit, it rolled off the table (less than 1m high) and now intermittently failed to both turn on and stay on. Submitted a warranty query and NEVER heard back! "Limited" Life time warranty or not, one should at the very minimum reply. Sad!

Propriétaire d'une Maglite led 3D de seconde génération et de ce modèle ML300LX avec led de troisième génération, voici mon avis "éclairé"Le prix est plus élevé qu'une Maglite LED classique, mais les améliorations sont nombreuses :- coloris noir mat très élégant (contrairement au noir brillant des Maglite "classique")- amélioration du faisceau (éclairage uniforme, au revoir l'effet Donuts noir caractéristique des anciennes Maglite)- puissance en hausse sur le papier (625 Lumens, au lieu de 131 Lumens pour la 3D LED de seconde génération). En pratique, la différence de luminosité est uniquement utile à faible distance, pour éblouir. Car pour éclairer de loin, je n'ai pas constaté de grande différence (sur le papier : 406 mètres pour celle-ci contre 364 mètres pour la 3D LED)- mise au point du faisceau plus facile (plus besoin de tourner trois fois le bout de la lampe pour concentrer l'éclairage...)- meilleur "grip" de poignée que sur les modèles classiques de la marque- 5 fonctions d'éclairage personnalisable (puissance momentanée, plein, de faible puissance, eco et stroboscope). Pour faire simple, il est possible de configurer la lampe torche selon quatre modes pré-programmés (voir image).Seul point négatif à mon goût : l'autonomie en puissance maxi (16 heures)

Lampe très lourde, produit conforme a mes attentes, puissante, éclaire plutôt loin, je ne peux la comparer a d'autres produits similaires, reste a apprendre a l'utiliser, surtout si on joue avec le bouton, pour les différents modes d'éclairages. Pour le prix et les piles...si elle me fait 5 ans et que je ne change les piles que 2 fois en 5 ans cela justifiera le prix, mais je ne peux pas commenter l'avenir.
