Great beginners skate
These are honestly really great skates. I feel that they are relatively comfortable and are perfect for beginners who are trying to figure out if skating is their sort of thing while also getting skates that are going to withstand more than a months' worth of use. They are on the pricier side but you have to understand that these are not really toy skates. I bought a pair of $40 skates from Amazon and ended up immediately returning them after I tried them on. They were unsteady and felt as if they were put together wrong. These ones are so much more sturdy, They're honestly amazing. I feel so secure on these despite the fact that I am 5'6" and 300+ lbs. I think that the only thing I don't like about them is that after one heavy session of using them, A huge strip of paint came off one of my wheels (which isn't an issue, I need to replace the wheels for indoor wheels anyway) I was just disappointed that the wheels were painted rather than dyed. They also are a bit difficult to lace at first but once you break them in, they are just fine. I recommend buying these as long as you are looking for a good starting off point and understand that if you decide you really like skating, you are likely going to have to upgrade later on down the road.

Great buy sparkle skate
The media could not be loaded. I was really excited and little nervous to get these , I read all the other reviews and wondered what my experience would turn out like ?? Ok the box came in and they were packaged great . Opened the box and boyyy they are beyond beautiful so sparkly and you can tell it’s was made very well . Love the stiffness of the boot you can tell if you skated before if the material will eventually weaken and fold or the mAterial breaking from to big or loose . So far I love them yes they are for regular sized feet . Which I don’t have Lol I wear 9.5 i ordere a 9 so my toe is right near the edge but to me can’t have too much space in he front . they got the prefect new boot feeling so you have to break them in just like any shoe or heel . So I have not one but two bunion bones that stick out from the side of the big toe zso it was tight when I first tried them on I just un lace them and start stretching by the front . It did help and when I went skating I love the way they glided with ease and looked did some turns yes I fell lol but that was me not the skate :) I feel no numbness from being to small .a 10 would be to big . it felt great the skate supported all of this 166.8 pounds .I can confident to say it’s was money well spent . hope that helps I love them

Cuuuuuute!
I got into skating a couple of months ago. I've gone through two other skates before these. This is my third pair of skates in 2 months. These are the cutest thus far but, don't go for just looks when it comes to skates. COMFORT +QUALITY is important. I like these skates because they are true to size and fit wide feet comfortably. I normally order size 11 bc my feet are wide but, I ordered a 10 in these and they are good. The outer material I believe is vinyl but, the interior is lined with suede. It has some padding. It has a mix of lacing holes and hooks for easy lacing up the boot. All skates need to be broken in for max comfort. However, these skates didn't hurt my feet at all during the first few uses. I typically skate about 2 hours 2-3x a week. There's also some rear ankle cushion on the back of the skate.Bwcause I prefer indoor skating, I changed the original wheels to 98A (fully indoor wheels) for less grip to the floor = more speed, and ease doing spins. However, the original wheels are decent. They're indoor/outdoor wheels. The glide is very smooth indoors, i didn't test outdoor feels. This skate is decent overall for beginners and those value shoppers.

Wide Feet - They fit great!
The media could not be loaded. After I purchased these skates, I saw all the “wide feet beware” posts and got really discouraged. When I tried them on they were definitely tight and put pressure on the bone below my big toe. I had planned to return them but decided to investigate if I could make it work. Things that helped me decide to keep them:1) When I researched “how roller skates should fit” other than the tightness on my bone beneath my big toe, they fit accurately.2) I researched whether I could stretch them out at all. Since the interior is made of suede, I was able to use the blow drying method and it worked to relieve the bone pressure and make them comfortable (Woohoo!)3) I researched better methods for tying the laces, which made them way more comfortable.4) I took them to an indoor rink and skated for 1.5 hours - super comfortable and sturdy! The skates feel high quality and I’ve already received a bunch of compliments.Disclaimer - I’m a 34yo beginner skater.

True to size
They are heavy but well made worth the money true to shoe sizeIt’s not padded but nothing I can’t fix to my liking to make it more comfortable they don’t feel like a skating rink skate but I’m sure I’ll get use to them I love them

Gorgeous. Nice big wheels. A tad too small.
These skates are so cute. I’m a newbie and can’t comment much on the technical aspects. All I can say is that I normally wear size 11 shoes, and the 11’s are a smidge too small on my big ol’ feet. I have to return them and I’m sad about that. I ordered 11’s in another brand (named after an African antelope) and they are a hair larger and therefore slightly more comfortable. The wheels on Rollr Grls are quite a bit larger, which might be better for beginners so if you normally wear size 10.5, I’d say heck yeah, go for these in 11!

Great skates for beginners or older folks getting back on wheels. Love the gummy wheels.
These skates look great. They are also easy to control. However one of the boots is a bit uncomfortable. Squeezing the boots helped loosen them up though. I would recommend.
