I remember back in the early 90's going to Woolworths and there'd be these bins with cheap 99 cent makeup. Crazy colors like blue nail polish and black lipstick, colors that you didn't really see anywhere else back then, all piled up in these bins. They were all Wet N Wild, and I loved going through these bins and picking out a few items each time I visited. I always associated Wet N Wild with kitschy cheap makeup bins because of this, not that this was a bad thing. I also stopped seeing Wet N Wild after Woolworths went out of business and I always thought that was a shame, an end of an era. So imagine my surprise when I came across this! I've been on the hunt for the perfect shade of purple eyeshadow for years. Sephora had an eyeshadow pencil that had the perfect shade for me. The color was great, but the application was a bit on the chalky side. Still, it never failed to get compliments everytime I left the house with it on. Sadly, it was discontinued and I only bought one. So when that ran out, I tried in vain for years to find a suitable replacement. I started just buying any purple that remotely matched from any brand just to see if it'd work. I came across this and was surprised that 1., Wet N Wild was still a thing and 2., the color looked promising. Knowing my history with Wet N Wild and its bargain bin legacy, I didn't have high expectations on its quality. I bought this and another brand with a similar color that cost three times as much. I put this on my right eyelid and the expensive one on my left and whoa.... This pencil is AMAZING! The color glided on like silk. It wasn't chalky or hard or anything. It felt almost creamy. The pigmentation is rich, one pass and it was opaque and popping. I was able to glide over my eyelid a second coat and it went on so smoothly. No skin tugging, no pigment chunks falling off the pencil. Two coats and I couldn't stop staring at my eyes. The color is amazing. It was so much more vibrant than the more expensive brand. My only regret is not stocking up on more of these when they were in stock. Wet N Wild really threw me for a loop. I was expecting the bargain bin quality of my youth but this outperformed all my other color pencils. And this was by far the cheapest!! It's amazing that they kept the bin prices but seriously stepped up the quality! I'm definitely buying more and trying their other colors!

Finally an eye pencil that is a deep dark purple that's not super glittery. I've purchased so many eye pencils that promised to be a dark plum/wine color...but never was. This one though, is the first one I've ever purchased anywhere that is as dark as they say it would be. It is a beautiful dark wine/plum color. I love the quality of this pencil. It glides on so smoothly. And you can twist it up or twist it down and so it functions perfect. This was another problem I had with other pencils. They didn't have a way to sharpen them. They were completely useless as soon as the tip of it wore down. Because they wouldn't screw up they wouldn't screw down you couldn't sharpen them because it was like a plastic exterior around the color. I know other women must've had that trouble too. But this pencil won't need sharpening because of the design of it. It's nicely made. I'm going to order different colors because I really like the way this went on and stayed on.

To be fair, I specifically searched for "super smudgy eyeliner." I used the black icon eyeliner/eyeshadow pencil as part of my makeup arsenal for a Rocky Horror Picture Show event. Super smudgy, grungy, and a little goes a loooooooooong way. If that's what you're looking for - YOU FOUND IT! A little "too much" for everyday use i think, but perfect for mosh pits. 🤷‍♀️ Im not sure if it comes in waterproof, mine was not. Was really easy to fix mistakes and I didnt have to scrub when removing my makeup. 👍 But also, with that, I wouldnt expect it to last through humid / high temps / moisture / long periods of time. Wasn't sticky, went on smooth. In terms of "drying," since its not liquid, doesnt require dry time but in terms of it "setting," it just simply doesn't. Smudgy. Smudgy. Smudgy.

The wet n wild Color Icon Multi-Stick is the MVP of my makeup bag. It’s creamy, dreamy, and glides on like it’s late for a red carpet. The shade gives just the right amount of shimmer, like your eyelids are subtly winking at everyone. It somehow manages to be both eyeliner and eyeshadow without having an identity crisis. Plus, it’s vegan and cruelty-free, so you can look fabulous with a clear conscience. It can crease without primer, but it dries quick, lasts a long time, and is super affordable! If you want a multitasking stick that’s basically the Swiss Army knife of glam, this one’s a keeper.

well I originally loved this shadow...I placed it on the eye over concealer and than a primer ( used for years prior to trying this new shadow stick),..it blended out nicely ,,it dried down but not to a stiff and dry look..it stayed nourishing and creamy looking...I added my regular shadows and it looked gorgeous it melted into the skin and faded and blended out better than any other shadow stick I've tried in ages and ages...I was so happy with the look...I believe since I had a base on underneath that the color didn't start irritating my eye until later on..I also used it only on the outer half of the eye and outer corner so it was used sparingly.. I woke up with the red eyes and icky results of an allergy to carmine...I looked at the advertisement and it mistakenly shows "vegan"...going to the wet n wild website you can clearly see that one of the ingredients can be carmine(carmine is from the chochneal bug which has a bright red shell that is crushed and used as a coloring agent ..since it uses animal product they should not be advertising as vegan).......also , I went to the website for wet n wild and clearly the ingredients show that it may contain carmine... [+/- (MAY CONTAIN/PEUT CONTENIR): Iron Oxides/CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499, Titanium Dioxide/CI 77891, Mica, Carmine/CI 75470, Blue 1 Lake/CI 42090. I wish I could wear this but after seeing the website of wet n wild says it contains Carmine I am utterly shocked that they would not include this on their amazon page...maybe most of them are vegan ,,but not all of them are vegan,...luckily I don't have something important to do today or tomorrow and I can wait it out until my allergy subsides and my eyes go back to normal...I've had enough carmine allergic reactions to know the signs and symptoms . I am going to contact wet n wild at their headquarters and also here to alert them to the specific shadow that I used having Carmine ..I wish all companies would stop using carmine. other wise it was a really great shadow stick..I am going to have to try some of the other shades that from their own website state it doesn't contain carmine.

I was shocked how great this was. No real smell and the size is perfect it seems to sharpen fine and the color is great. Good quality and for its price it beats higher end brands. So functional and easy to work with.

Like for real. This is amazing. They last a really long time. I mostly ONLY use this and blend it out. Like it is soooo pretty!! It’s buildable for a more dramatic look, or just a swipe or two for a more natural look. Sometimes I get influenced and buy other (expensive!) brands and I always come back to this. It’s creamy and stays on really well all day. I couldn’t love this little pencil more. For my bday - my husband bought me like 5 of them because I love them so much. I have 52 year old hooded eyes, and it never creases. Don’t sleep on this cute little pencil!

For the black: Decent for the price! Pro - very pigmented Con - not easy to wash off Perfect for Halloween! Mother of pearl Ooo this is so pretty! It's a perfect highlighter! I use it in the corners of my eyes and under the wing of my eye liner, sometimes under my eyes... Sometimes on the tops of my cheekbones. It's versatile and super pretty! Perfect shimmer!
