A great buy.
Easy to use and great not only for scanner photos but all my receipts and important documents as well. Fits into my briefcase. Highly recommend it.

easy
scans photo quickly. Had a problem with micro disk, you must use fingernail to push scan disc all the way in until itclicks. Wished it had regular scan disc instead of micro. But I do like the scanner so far. Sometimes dark pictures scanned a little darker but not bad. If disc is in correctly it will pull your photos thru just by putting them near thebar. If disc not in will not pull photo thru. Have not tried to scan to computer as I have a mac. But the scan disc works fine. Used 32 mg with no problem.

Not worth the price.
You have to use a low storage SD card. Less than 500 scans and I'm already having issues with it. It just stops in the middle of a scan and you have to turn the machine off and re start. It started making odd noises like something was malfunctioning almost right away. You have to adjust for the size of the photo or document and if it's not 100% perfect it puts static on the side of the photo. It's quite annoying and not worth the price. It does seem to scan at a decent quality and it is quick but you're going to have to edit alot of photos to get rid of the static. * will update with photos

Perfect for Quickly Scanning Hundreds of Photos
It’s been my goal for some time now to digitize all our old family photos, and this scanner was exactly what I had been looking for. It works quickly, is simple to use, and most of the time needs no cropping at all. The quality of the photos is great, and I love that it can be used with batteries instead of cords.

Not Perfect
We used this for scanning older photos. If the photo was in perfect shape, it worked well. If there was any warping, or damage to the photo paper, it would catch and distort the scan. It eats up batteries, so we plugged it into a wall adapter.

Poor quality images and not easy to use
First, you have two choices on how to use this: scan to computer via USB connection. If you do this, the images are uploaded into your clipboard and you must paste them into a compatible program, one by one, like Word or Paint and then save them. Option 2 is to use batteries and buy a MicroSD card which isn't included allowing it to be portable, which is nice. I scanned 90 photos my first run and realized the next day that once the scanner turns off, it defaults back to 300dpi, so 75% of my photos are poor quality because I didn't reset the resolution each time it turned off after a lapse of time. I could get better quality using my iPhone even at the high resolution.
