This is the demo that came be for nothing but death remains. And that debut full length pales in comparison to this.This is a great official release of the demo. It is very different from other edge of sanity releases but in a very good way.This is quite an amazing piece of death metal, one well worthy of a purchase, especially if you consider yourself a fan edge of sanity.

Kur-Nu-Gi-A was their first proper demo (second overall) recorded in 1990 by Dan Swano on a 4 track recorder while they were teenagers. I actually have this original cassette! This was the only format it was available on until 2011 when it was released on 12" Picture Disc and then 2012 it was released on CD. It contains the Demo and a few rarities: "Decepted by the Cross" (Live), "Immortal Souls" (Live) and a Rough Mix of "Maze of Existence". All 3 songs originally appeared on this Demo as well as their first album "Nothing But Death Remains" . The original 4 track cassette masters have been transferred using state of the art digital technology and remixed to give them the sound Dan has wanted for 21 years! This is a must have for Die Hard fans!I have a funny story about acquiring this Demo too I'll share with you. So, I see the review for the Demo in a Metal Maniacs and decide to write and send my money. A few weeks later I get the cassette along with a letter from Dan (both of which I still have). I was shocked that Dan took the time to actually respond and not just send the Demo to me. So, I thought that was REALLY cool!Well, about a month or so later. I got another Demo and a letter "form letter" this time. It said that they had sent me another Demo and asked me to actually pay for this one. I was like WTF? I sent you money and got my Demo. Now you send me another one and ask me to pay for it. Since I did not pay the first time? I couldn't believe I was reading this. Needless to say I didn't send them any more money. I thought, if I didn't pay for the first one. Why would you send me another? Especially all the way from Sweden! I'm sure or a bunch of teenagers was not cheap! So, I ended up giving it to a friend of mine. I still have both letters and the Demo. Later on I actually posted this story in a forum he had at the time online and was really cool and I'm sure had a good laugh about it.So, if you are a fan of Edge Of Sanity. I would definitely recommend this release for which it is a classic and a preview of what was to come from a great band!

Classic collection of EDGE OF SANITY Demo material remastered and finally official released for first time ever on CD, a must for any fan of the band.

Item is not described as a picture disc but that is what I received.Bummer.Is it too hard to describe the nature of the media?
