This is between 3-3.5 stars. It's much better than the other one I purchased at the same time ( Handy Band 00201 Magnetic Wrist Band ) which isn't as strong, is difficult to put on and take off, and pinches my arm hairs. In contrast, this one goes on and off easily, doesn't pull on my hairs, and is slightly stronger. But it's still pretty weak, and it's bulky. That bulkiness is largely responsible for it being easier to use and not pulling on my hairs, because it prevents it from collapsing like the other one does, but I'm pretty sure it could be a lot slimmer and still accomplish that, and slimming it down would also slightly increase the magnetic strength. I plan to make my own so I can use my own magnets, or possibly remove the ones from this band and replace them. If they had used good quality bar magnets instead of the small (possibly good quality, not sure, but too small to matter) disc magnets they used (2 per section, 4 sections, 8 total) this could have easily been a 4-star product and probably even a 5-star one, and it would have been worth more. But I suppose that's the problem, because fewer people would buy it as they would go for the cheaper options.

I found this magnetic wristband off hand while searching for cool engineering gadgets. I debated whether to get this one or the more expensive $13.99 one. I ended up getting this one because I always like to save a buck. When I got it, it was a bit smaller than I thought it would be but worked like expected and advertised. When they say strong, they mean strong! The magnets could hold a decent amount of weight. Would recommend for someone who does projects frequently or offhand because of the low price. I would give it a 9/10.

Magnetic wristband what a clever idea, gone are the times up a ladder screws placed on the top of the ladder or clamped between ones teeth.It holds quite a lot of screws,so if you drop one no scrambling down the ladder in search simply pluck them off your wristband,such a useful invention,certainly recommend and worth 5stars
