My Favorite Pens!
These are hands down my favorite pens! The ink flows so smoothly, dries quickly, and doesn’t smudge. They’re comfortable to hold and write beautifully. Perfect for everyday use, whether at work, school, or journaling. Highly recommend!

Ink dries instantly....literally!
Admittedly, I just bought these pens and I'm using the first one for the first time today, but I love, love, LOVE these pens! I got the 5-pen multicolor pack with needle tip (0.5 mm ball). It glides smoothly on the paper with no skipping at all.I had become so fed up with my previous gel pens (Pilot G2) because I was constantly smearing the ink when filling out greeting cards, even on matte finish paper and as a right-hander. I recently filled out a questionaire in which you filled in the circles, using a Pilot pen and I had to let it dry for more than a day before I could put it in the envelope.Enter the EnerGel Liquid Gel Ink pens! I absolutely LOVE these pens so far. They're very comfortable in the hand, they glide so easily that my signature is noticeably better and almost effortless. That's coming from an MS patient who has had difficulty signing smoothly for years. But what I'm impressed about the most is the speed at which the ink dries. The reason I bought these pens was because the ink was said to dry very fast. I did a test this morning, writing a short line and then trying to smear it, each time sooner than the last. I was amazed when I was able to rub my fingers across the ink line as soon as I finished writing it! Who ever heard of an ink drying that fast, while freely flowing from the pen? It will be interesting to see if they keep writing without drying out, but I haven't seen any reviews mentioning that. Thanks, EnerGel, for a truly outstanding pen! :)

Best Gel Pen I've Found
Unlike many gel pens Pentel Energel pens do not 'dry up' before I can use up all their ink. The pen is comfortable to hold. I have these pens in 0.5mm and 0.7mm as well as some with the "needle tip" and some with the "metal tip." I prefer the "needle tip" since it writes a bit finer than the "metal tip." I have the 0.5mm Energel pens mainly for when I'm doing bookkeeping since the ledger columns are extremely small. I also like the fact that for the colors I use most I can get refills instead of paying for a whole new pens.I have been using Energel pens for over 4 years now and I do a LOT of writing! The only con is that over time some of the pens fail to stay together as I'm writing. They screw together and that is the part that occasionally fails. Most of the ones that back out of the tread screws while I am writing have that happen before the first ink gel cartridge is empty. I end up taking the cartridge out (to use in another Energel pen) and throw the pen "jacket" away. If the threads fail, I can also literally pull the pen apart with little to no effort. If the threads last through the cartridge that the pen comes with the pen jacket tends to go on to last a really long time. I have several 0.7 purple needle tip Energies that I've had for years and just replace their cartridges. I purchase the refills on Amazon in packages of 12 and I have gone through over 24 of the 0.7mm purple needle tip ink cartridges. It is pretty rare, but occasionally a cartridge will start leaking around the tip.

Beautiful pens and ink and everything in between
The media could not be loaded. The inks are smooth, you don’t need topress hard, fast writer approved, left handed approved because it dries fast. Very very very reliable. The colors are vibrant and my favorite is the blue one. The black one is a true black, the red is really pretty as well as the purple, the green is not too blue like most pens do like it’s actual green and the blue is just amazing. They’re perfect for notes or for journalism.

Fine tips, consistent ink flow
I got the assorted pack of five colors when this item went on a sale. For the price I paid, they seem to be decent pens. I prefer very fine tipped pens, as these are. They're very lightweight, so if you prefer a bit more weight in a pen these aren't that. The size feels fine in my hand, having quite small hands, but I haven't used them for a long period yet to judge comfort over time. I can't speak to longevity yet, but have tested each color and so far the ink flow on them each seems even and without issues. I've found another brand on amazon that are similar to the pilot precise v5 pens but cheaper than them which I really like and will probably continue using after this as I prefer the sleek design.

Fantastic pens with gel ink that really lasts and writes smoothly
I have been using these pens since, I believe, they came out, and I have been extremely happy with their performance, especially their longevity. I am in special education, and I allow my students to use my pens as a motivational device for them to do their work. (It does work, but one must know the student and what motivates her.) These pens write smoothly, never skip or smear, never leak and have too much ink come out at once. They are consistently excellent. What I particularly like is the ability to purchase refills for these pens so that I don't have to go through the expense of buying a new pen every time the old one runs out of gel ink. It cuts down on my expenses, but truth be told, I needn't buy refills more than once/year--that's how long the gel ink lasts. I also purchase these as a prize for a student who has done an excellent job on a project (providing, of course, that the student likes the pens). You really can't go wrong with these pens. I have yet to have anyone try them out and dislike them.
