XCOSTUME® Mens Deluxe Kylo Ren Costume Full Suit New Version V3 with Belt & Gloves 2024

I wasn't sure about this one going in, all of the Kylo Ren costumes i'd seen before were cheap junk nowhere near film accurate. This one is ~98-99% accurate, and very high quality. It comes with the tunic, topcoat, sash, belt, and gloves.Make sure you know what you're getting before ordering, their return/exchange policy is horrendous. You only have a week to report a problem, you have to pay for shipping for any reason and if the reason is anything other than manufacturer defect you are expected to pay a 20% restocking fee on top. I don't expect customer service to be very helpful with this being the case.EDIT: I wrote them about the poor fit of the tunic, they requested my measurements and have shipped a new one to me, process took about a week. I wasn't asked for any additional fee and they didn't even require that i return the one that doesn't fit well. I reverse my statement about customer service... In my experience it's been perfect.EDIT: I've just completed my transaction with customer service and it was outstanding! Forget what i said about service to begin with. They replaced my ill-fitting tunic, no questions asked, and told me to keep the one that didn't fit. When i received the replacement it fit better but the shoulders were still very narrow. I asked them if it would be difficult for a costumer to alter the garment, their response was it wouldn't be easy but it should be possible. They THEY suggested a partial refund in light of the poor fit in order to cover some of the cost of the alteration. I have never in my life had a better customer experience. All of the emails, save weekends, were responded to within 24 hours and they clearly care about their product.The belt is quite well made. The buckle has some weight to it and is well detailed, the only problem i have with the belt is that the velcro seam is very obvious and there's no belt clip for the saber... Not a big deal, i'm just very particular and i can add the clip myself. The tunic fits very tightly, this is both good and bad. In the film the arms are fit very snugly, this is the case with the costume. The downside is that it fits almost too tightly in the chest, if i were any bigger i wouldn't fit it at all. The shoulders aren't fit well and restrict my range of motion in the arms. It is also (again, me being a perfectionist) inaccurate in the neck. In the film the collar extends high on the neck, in the costume there's very little collar at all. This isn't noticeable when the full costume is on, but if you remove the sash and topcoat your neck will be exposed. I'm going to contact the company this week and see if there's anything that can be done about the fit of the tunic, if not i'll see what i can do to have it tailored. The gloves... Throw them away, they're garbage. They are made with good materials and fit well, but they have ugly white stitching all over them and are not in any way even close to film accurate. I would suggest searching Amazon for "Kylo Ren Gloves" and looking for the pair with velcro straps on the wrists and horizontal ribbing above the fingers. These are very close to if not film accurate.In addition to the gloves you will have to supply the parts that don't come with the costume, namely helmet, boots, pants and lightsaber. For film accuracy i would suggest a tight fitting black denim jean, and the Black Series Voice Changer Helmet. This helmet is the most accurate commercially available reproduction. Bear in mind however that this helmet's fit is quite small. I have no good suggestion for the boots or lightsaber. I'll be using a 3D printed lightsaber hilt of my own design, there are boots out there that are decently made but very very poorly detailed. I got a pair of these and i will be removing the horizontal straps and cheap buckles and replacing them with better looking straps and buckles.Overall i'm quite impressed with this costume, my only major gripes being that the gloves are horrible, it has an odd fit, and the return policy is not at all customer friendly.

Beautifully made costume. First of all, this isn't your typical store bought costume with the thin material. This material is high quality and has a good weight to it. Comes in three main pieces: Inner tunic, outer tunic, and scarf. Hood detaches from the outer tunic via buttons if you desire. Hood is quite big, so it looks like it should be able to accommodate those bigger Kylo Ren helmets that are around. Enough material to have the typical Kylo Ren look where the hood flares out to the sides when the helmet is worn. I found the length of the outer tunic about 6 - 7 inches too long, so had to modify it by cutting the extra length and sewing it back. No problem really though, I'd rather them give too much material than too little. For taller people over 6', it should fit a lot better. Gloves aren't really that great of quality, and aren't really screen accurate. Luckily you can buy some Kylo Ren gloves for ~$25 on Amazon if you look around. Lots of material on the scarf as well, makes it perfect to cut and modify to your liking.I'm a fairly small guy (5'6" 150 lbs), so after reading the reviews, I was thinking of 'sizing up' as others have mentioned. According to the chart provided by Xcoser, the medium should fit me given my measurements. I went with the medium and everything fits like it should. The inner tunic is a little tight, but certainly ideal. If you have a bigger upper body, I'd definitely suggest sizing up.This is a perfect Kylo Ren costume for anyone wanting a quality costume without spending the big money. I would say this quality lies in between your typical store-bought costume and the more expensive $3000 costumes. For the price and quality, I don't think you can really beat this costume without spending ridiculous amounts of money.

I got this costume to create my own spin on a Star Wars costume. I was blown away by the quality and fit. Costumes I have ordered in the past have felt cheap and designed to last on season of use. This will last many uses beyond the event I wore this to. It received many complements from others in how authentic it looked. I wore it at an outdoor event in Florida and didn't overheat easily. I was concerned since it contains several layers and each layer is thicker material than I had anticipated.I found the fit to be true to size and didn't need to make any modifications for myself.If you are looking for a Kylo Ren or making your own thing as this as a basis, then you won't be disappointed.
