AC Adapter Charger for HP Beats Special Edition 15-p390nr, 15-p030nr.

IT SMOKED!!! SAFETY HAZARD!! I've had the charger for about 5 months. It has never been an issue before now. About 2 days ago the charger started periodically stopping in the middle of charging my laptop. As I've been busy with school, I just ignored it and figured it would fix itself. Well just now, I plugged the charger up to my lap top and IT STARTED SMOKING! I've never felt so unsafe before. The charger was on my bed and could have totally burned up the bed. Please do not buy this charger, it is not safe!I have sent three emails to the company with no reply.

I was very skeptical abt buying this cheap charger, but i desperately needed 2 use my laptop. So i took a chance by disreguarding the negative reviews. Biggest mistake! Overheated my laptop & now i cant even get my laptop to startup without the charger! So i now need2 repair my laptop or buy a new one! WORST ITEM I HAVE EVER PURCHASED

This works as expected, and stays cooler than the original. I am very happy with my purchase. That being said, I found out later (from HP's website) that my original charger was part of a voluntary recall. If I had known about the recall sooner then I could have saved a few bucks, but I don't regret my purchase. This charger is fairly priced and performs as expected.

As soon as I plugged it into my laptop, it made a hissing noise and sparked. I could even smell something burning when I took the charger back out!!! It's dangerous! Plus, it fried the laptop's charging port. Now, I have to pay to get my laptop repaired. STAY AWAY!!!

Worked as expected. Cord is heavy duty and has to one straitened out. Happy with it because it has stood the test of time and kids accidentally pulling the cord out by catching it on their foot or pulling out of the wall incorrectly.

I HAVE PURCHSED FROM AMAZON BEFORE SO MY SECOND ONE...THE LITTLE INSERT KEEPS FALLING OUT OF COMPUTER..BUT I DEAL WITH IT...

My son left his charger at his house. This arrived the next day after I ordered for him.
