Cannon Downrigger Weight, Fishing Ball for Boat Trolling

Nothing wrong with the weights. I did have to return them because the eye hook by tail was in wrong spot for me. But again the quality was wonderful.

We added downriggers to our Pontoon boat to do a little salmon fishing. Very happy with these downriggers.

I have two Scotty 1101 down riggers and use these exclusively...I have one extra as a spare. They work great and the tail keeps the line from twisting and causing problems. I use these in Alaska where heavy tides demand a heavy weight. The heavy plastic coating keeps the damage to the ball to a minimum with everyday use. Highly recommend.

It’s a piece of lead!!! I can now go deep and keep the line from dragging. 16# is a beast but over 120’ is what I need for the Kings out in Puguet Sound and off shore of Washington.

Use this flasher trolling for Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel in summer. Use for trolling in fall for Stripe Bass on the Chesapeake Bay Maryland. Sticker was starting to peel off when it arrived, but I stuck it back on and it seems to be holding. My other weight is heavier, and I do like this one better.
