Solid Performer
I replaced a Walker-Turner motor on a 1946 Logan lathe with one of these, and it's working well. The old motor weighed twice as much, being mostly cast iron. This one is sheet metal and probably die-cast zinc. I kind of wish that I'd opted for the other 1/2HP motor Grizzly sells, which has a longer shaft (~2" vs ~1.5 for this one).
