Great product at a fraction of the official filter

Fridge flashed up that water filter needed replacing so looked on manufacturers website to discover they wanted over £50.00 for one?!!!. Thought I would look online to see if I could get it cheaper, found these on Amazon at around £30.00 for a pack os 3!. At that price, well worth a punt as most of the reviews were positive. The filters arrived promptly as usual. Read the instructions & proceeded to replace the old filter with the new one, everything was straightforward & easy, ran through approx 10 litres of water to clear any residue from the new filter, checked for leaks & none found so all good. The none genuine replacement appears to be of a comparable quality to the original but at a fifth of the price, all good

These filters leak water everywhere! A false economy. Unfortunately I bought before I needed them so can’t return or get a refund as over 3 months before I used them.

This cartridge was for my Fisher& Pykel fridge/freezer (model R605…). Installation was extremely easy and straightforward, specially if you temporarily remove the top left hand shelf. Make sure that he lugs are aligned correctly and as noted from removal of the old cartridge. There was absolutely no leakage on the filter compartment and after bleeding about 4 litres of water that expelled all the air from the lines and filter, there were a few drops from the dispenser spout but that stopped soon and all works beautifully. At approximately 1/6th of the price of an original filter from F&P and free prime delivery, it’s a no brainier. Definitely recommend its purchase and I am quite pleased with the quality.

Have been buying these filters for my Fisher & Paykel fridge freezer over many years. They must be changed every 6 months.. As with most items from Amazon they arrive with amazing speed, are easy to install and ensure the chilled water and ice cubes maintain good quality.
