Never Touch a Spider!

Not sturdy, but super fun
My 9 month old adores this book. He touches the texture for a bit, then leans back and waits for me to turn the page. Even after reading this multiple times, he still loves the textures. The story is simple and cute, and I love the little message about leaving bugs alone (unless they're in the book!). The book arrived with a dent in the cover and isn't the sturdiest, but it is adorable.

Love the book but...
Love the book. It came slightly damaged. And pages in these books stick together so that can cause the print on pages to come up.

Book Review
{My thoughts} – I have become a huge fan of these books ever since I ran across you should Never Touch a Dragon a couple of years back. I have slowly been working on trying to get my hands on more of the series. I think it’s a colorful and fun series for children. The cover is bright and eye catching and appealing. The texture differences that are on each page help to engage your child in more then just sight. The words and text are also formatted in different ways to help appeal to your child. It is colorful, fancy and fun. This particular book is about bugs and it is written in a rhyme like pattern. It talks about the illustrations as well as how you should respect bugs. It shows children that really you shouldn’t touch them at all but it does it in a silly way that is sure to entertain them once they are able to understand the context of the words within the rhymes.I recommend this book for any child that enjoys touching and feeling different kinds of textures. I also recommend it for any child that enjoys being read to on a regular basis. This book has the potential to become a loved book for children.

Others are better
My kid loves these books because of the texture. We've read him the dinosaur one so many times it's falling apart. This one is about all different bugs... not just spiders. It's still a decent book.

Cute
Fun book for kids to interact. Different textures on each insect. Probably ages 1-3 appropriate

Great book
This was the first “ Never touch a” book we bought our daughters a few months ago and it’s their favourite book! One of our daughters was “reading”and turned the back cover so far back when she was done that it broke the spine of the book accidentally (not a problem with the book). I ordered another one and it arrived the next day!!! ( and made our daughters very happy to have it back!) It’s a few $ more On Amazon.ca than when I bought it at Chapter’s when I bought the first book. We did by this book as one of my nephews first few welcome home gifts. The textures are great and easy to clean. The colours are nice and bright too.

Love the story, quality is poor
I love this whole series of books but this copy fell apart in the first week. The pages had strong imprints of the silicone patterns on them too. The story is fun to read and the silicone patterns involve my baby who refuses to sit still for any other books.

Perfect for little fingers
Love this book! The spines on the front page are nice and long, little fingers love running through them. A fun alternative to the fuzzy touchy feely books, wipeable if necessary! A couple pages make this great for little girls even being a ‘bug’ book.

Not that great...
They all feel like the same type of rubber, just different pictures. My 16 month old got bored of this book pretty quickly.Otherwise at alright.
