Never Touch a Spider!

I currently work with children from birth to three years of age. I absolutely love, love this book. This book hit so many sensory element in a child. The colors, and textures are amazing. The words for the book is so fun to read. It captures curiosity and the kids love it!

Gave this book as a gift to my niece who is turning one. She loved the feel of it and was very excited for the book. I will definitely be buying more from this series.

{My thoughts} – I have become a huge fan of these books ever since I ran across you should Never Touch a Dragon a couple of years back. I have slowly been working on trying to get my hands on more of the series. I think it’s a colorful and fun series for children.The cover is bright and eye catching and appealing. The texture differences that are on each page help to engage your child in more then just sight. The words and text are also formatted in different ways to help appeal to your child. It is colorful, fancy and fun.This particular book is about bugs and it is written in a rhyme like pattern. It talks about the illustrations as well as how you should respect bugs. It shows children that really you shouldn’t touch them at all but it does it in a silly way that is sure to entertain them once they are able to understand the context of the words within the rhymes.I recommend this book for any child that enjoys touching and feeling different kinds of textures. I also recommend it for any child that enjoys being read to on a regular basis. This book has the potential to become a loved book for children.

Bought as a gift for a 1yo and he loved so much! So nice to see it how he interact with the book and the sensorial part of it.

One of my 15 mo. old son's all time favorite book was Never Touch a Shark (gift from a friend). He absolutely loves, loves, and loves the Shark book. The rhymes are cute, the textures of the sea creatures are creative and great for little hands (and feet)! It's great for developing sensory and motor skills for babies. Lets just say that the Shark book has been read over a 100 times, that I decided to get him Never Touch a Spider and Never Touch a Dragon. Also great books! The Spider and Dragon books also have cute rhymes and different textures for the different animals. It keeps little hands busy!

I’m a nanny that typically watches babies from 8mos-2yrs old. Interactive books like this are a great start when it comes to getting your baby to engage in reading books. This book collection is so fun! I got this for little James for Christmas and it’s one of his favorites!

We’ve bought the entire series! These are awesome books. Our toddler would not sit for more then a minute for story time, until we purchased this book. She loves the textures (each page is different). The colors are vibrant and the animations adorable. You can wipe the textured (animals) areas down with damp cloth. I recently discovered they make a larger book, same style, that has pages to write on and lots of beautiful stickers. The value for these books it awesome! They make great gifts.

My 1 year old son is so obsessed with textures and books right now! He always sees this book, brings it to me for us to read. It truly is such a cute little book! The bugs in it are adorable. You won’t regret buying this !
