I love my 20v Dewalt battery tools but why is this one so expensive?

The price is actually not bad if compared to other cordless offerings for a DA POLISHER, which as of now there are not that many (Flex (they make a forced rotation and free spinning model, Makita makes a combo cordless that can be used either forced or free spinning rotation. As a hobbyist, I love not having a cord to drag around especially for the hood and roof panels. The unit is well made and has performed admirably thus far.

Is this capable of removing oxidation and clearcoat scratches?
