We were introduced to Delsym years ago by our pediatrician. This is the best cough suppressant out there- and it truly is 12 hours!

Delsym has been the one thing I reach for when I get a cough, for my entire adult life. And with very little exception, it has been the only thing I need for it. It is the only medicine in the bottle, so if you are having other symptoms, you can usually take it with your sore throat relief, your pain killer, expectorant, or whatnot. I like both the grape and orange flavors, though I usually prefer the orange.

I cannot say enough good about this cough syrup. It is, hands down, the most effective cough syrup I’ve tried! I have 4 kids; 1 in HS, 1 in MS, 1 in elementary school and 1 at home so we bring home a lot of bugs. This is an absolutely must to keep in our house for the sick season. It is truly effective for 12 hours. Just buy it!
