Best olive oil for the price!
I am somewhat of a foodie & I want to say this olive oil provides the best true taste you can get for the buck. I'm so glad I stumbled on it on Amazon & particularly like it on my daily salads with a hint of 8-year-old balsamic vinegar. I couldn't be happier with this product particularly the packaging which makes it easier to use than the heavier glass as well as the no-drip pourer. Terrific product! (Just wish I could buy it in bulk).

Very nice mild olive oil
Very nice mild olive oil. Some (like me) prefer a bit more punch. But seems to be the grade and quality it is advertised to be.

Tasted bland. Couldn't taste the peppery flavor of hydroxytyrosols.
This extra virgin oilve oil tasted bland. It didn't have that peppery-flavor that indicates it has high levels of hydroxytyrosol. In his book, the Anti-Inflammation Zone, Dr. Barry Sears says, “But don't take my word for it-try this simple taste test. Take a teaspoonful of olive oil and put it in your mouth. It should have a buttery taste, as opposed to a bland oil taste. Now swish the oil along the top of your mouth with your tongue until it hits the back of your throat. You should notice a very pepper-like taste. If you don't, then the oil contains virtually no hydroxytyrosol, which means it has virtually no health benefits.” In Dr. Perricone's book, The Perricone Prescription, he says, “Studies continue to appear all over the world about the healing properties of extra virgin olive oil. Research conducted in Spain suggests that olive oil may help prevent colon cancer, an inflammatory condition. It should be noted that extra virgin Spanish olive oil contains the highest levels of a class of powerful antioxidants called polyphenols. . . . One of the polyphenols, perhaps the most powerful, is hydroxytyrosol, found only in extra virgin olive oil. In addition to being a rare protective antioxidant, hydroxytyrosol is what gives the beautiful flavor to extra virgin olive oil.” (Nicholas Perricone, The Perricone Prescription, HarperCollins, 2004, pp. 65-73) I purchased this product thinking it was rich in healthy hydroxytyrosols. But I couldn't taste them. It tasted bland.

I'd love the fruitness
Yummy! Drizzled over tomatoes and mozzarella and as a dip for bread, I'd love the fruitness. typical of well-made arbequina: gentle, balanced, sweetish in a good way. Notes for this Spanish oil ranged from “balanced, but mild”. I'd love to pour in my salad now I want to be healthy to start the summer!! Thanks Abril to arrive to the US!

Three Stars
Flavor is ok, plastic bottle not glass make the oil taste different.

It's good, don't get me wrong. But it's nothing great.
