This Stuff Is Fantastic
I love this stuff!I like to build plastic models, but there has always been a HUGE and exasperating problem that makes the hobby extremely frustrating at times: a lack of a decent adhesive. It's driven me nuts, especially with small parts since I have a bit of a fine tremor. The traditional model glues are extremely slow drying, requiring you to hold pieces together for 10 or more minutes. Super glues are the worst. Without an accelerator, they aren't much faster at setting than traditional glues, and they ruin the surface. Once you get any glue on your fingers, it's game over until you can clean it off -- I've found the only thing that works is 150 grit sandpaper. The stuff that sets rapidly when exposed to LED light, e.g. Bondic, are a huge improvement, but they aren't really adhesives. It won't set anywhere the LED can't reach, and because they aren't adhesives, they leave an accumulation of clear bonding material that needs to be sanded down. Then, almost in an act of desperation, I saw this Flex-i-file solution. It came with a huge promise -- bonds plastics in 10 - 15 seconds with tiny drops -- which prompted a "Yeah, right," from me. How is something the consistency of water, which seeps into contact between surface the joints to be bound by capillary action, going to actually work. It wasn't expensive, so I had nothing to lose.I was shocked when the first time I gave it a shot IT WORKED EXACTLY AS PROMISED!! It takes tiny amounts, and with minimal pressure it bonds the plastic surfaces completely. As an added bonus, if you get any on your fingers, it simply evaporates. It isn't perfect. Because it seems to work by melting and welding the surfaces together, it tends to rough up surfaces, but not nearly as bad a cyanoacrylates and accelerating agents. It needs to be applied thinly, which can be tricky to do. The small glass tube in the package, and the dispensing bottle option, works but with a lot of squirting around and wastage. I found a very satisfactory solution using 3, 5, or 10 cc medical syringes and blunt edged needles available on Amazon for a few bucks allow precision control of application. In a flash, I went from models missing parts and crooked contact angles which looked ugly, to nice, clean, solid joints that set in seconds, enabling me to complete a model in half the time. Any roughing of adjacent surfaces can be sanded and painted if desired. The only negative I've found yet, other than those mentioned above is that it only works on plastic, so it can't be used for balsa wood models, or most model railroading applications.Wow! Something inexpensive and easy to use that actually works as promised. What a concept! This stuff resurrected my modeling hobby.

Best product to use to repair acrylic
I had a very expensive resin acrylic art picture sent from India. The art piece took over a month to make. Somewhere in the transport it was drop and a small part of the corner came of the artwork. I turned the picture over and used Flex-I-File 7000 Touch and Flow Glue System. The Glue set very fast like in seconds. I was able to fix my artwork so no one could tell it was ever broken. The first picture show how the glue showed once cured. The second picture show the part from the front. You can not tell it was ever glued.

How Did I Ever Live Without This Before
I have tried all the different types of super glues and bonding agents to assemble my 3D prints. All have their quirks. This stuff is amazing. I assembled a very large ship using this this stuff, and my prints were not perfect, there were gaps, there were some warped parts, they were plastic from different manufacturers. PlastiWeld didn't care. I used very little of this and have solid welds all around the ship. The touch and flow system is fantastic (and I feel like a mad scientist every time I use it) and very easy to use. I'm a fan, I will never buy super glues for my 3D models ever again.

Great product for model builders
Fast accurate delivery. This is a great product for model building, I use it all the time now for big and small parts. Not for photo etch, though, as it welds by dissolving the plastic. Good Stuff!
