Really good budget set of VR Goggles.
Let me start by saying I paid full price for these goggles. I had used a friends Gear VR set a while back and wanted to find a cheaper alternative. I am very pleased with these overall. The big difference between these and the $99 plus name brand versions is the ecosystem. After all, these barging models are just a plastic holder for the phone and lenses. With the name brand models you get a software package that is well backed and tested. You also get soft touch buttons on the side to navigate the menus. This model has NO buttons and no software (apps) included. Those are the real negatives of the headset. On the good side, they are well made. They have two ways to adjust the lenses. Sliders on the bottom allow you to move them side to side and each lens screws in and out to adjust for your vision. This is a good thing but I would have liked to have been able to do both adjustments while wearing the headset. Having to take them off to adjust front to back adjustment was a bit of a pain. I wear glasses and these accommodated my glasses very well. Once I got them set, they worked great. I was able to play a space based first person shooter for almost an hour with no real eye strain or other vision problems. Now, like I said, there are NO buttons on this unit. You have to find "aim based" apps and games to use with this unit. There are plenty, you just have to search for them. I have ordered a blue tooth game controller to try out with other games that require a physical button. The new VR Gear is going to come with an XBox controller. I was a little upset that there was no software to use with this unit but then again, I didn't expect it either at this price point. This is better than an entry level unit and everyone that has tried it loves it. It just takes a little work to get it all set up for good vision and good apps. See the pics for more info. Again, I DID NOT GET THESE AT A DISCOUNT OR FREE. Click like if this was helpful. Thank you.

It's not perfect.
I like this viewer, it's much nicer than the cheap cardboard ones I tried. I have messed up eyes with different prescriptions and I can adjust each lens to see through it without the need of glasses. The quality is better than other units I tried. I had trouble and saw double vision though despite this one having adjustments for that. The adjustment just was not enough for my LG G4. Perhaps it matters what phone you use and what size the phone is as there are some mixed reviews for this. The biggest problem is the fact it does not come with a QR code. This is needed to calibrate the viewer to your phone. Some people have made suggestion what code to download but I tried many codes and was not happy with any of them. What I found out is that you can create your own to match the preferences you want. You can change lens distortions, zoom levels and so on. After doing this I now no longer see double vision and things that looked curved that should be straight are now as they should be. Creat your own profile and QR code at [...] and you will make this a great product to dip your toes into the world of VR. I will provide a QR for my adjustment, keep in mind though it was done quickly and is set up for my phone and my messed up eyes. It might help you or it may be horrible but it works for me.

Decent headset. Lenses should be better.
I can compare this to both the colorcross/sunnpeak and the Akally 3d VR headset as I own both. The colorcross mounting is not the best and the rubber pads fell off quite quickly. The mounting in the Akally is a little cumbersome but pretty secure, the Pasanomi isvery easy to mount the phone but the latch worries me a bit. The Pasanomi really does have a wider FOV then the other two, but the lens quality of all of them are not great, all of the lenses I have are plastic and they scratch easily using the microfiber cloth and they all have defects. I hookup my Galaxy S5 over USB to my PC to play some games in VR, it does not work perfectly, but it does give you a taste of what you get with the real VR setups. The Pasanomi gives me the best view. If you have a 5+ inch phone, this is the one to get.

Thomas Jefferson Review - VR Glasses....one button....
GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.And the things looks very high tech. However, the one big thing I didn't like was that it didn't have a single button to interact with the screen. Reviewers said that it made a HUGE difference. So, I returned this and got one with better starts that had a button AND it ended up being cheaper too.I just do want to say tha the CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. They offered suggestions that did have buttons but after researching what I I wanted, Ididn't want to do it all over again. This is a great company. QERY 3D VR Glasses, Lightweight Virtual Reality Headset for VR Games and 3D Movie, Compatible with 4.7-6.0 inch screens, No dizzy feeling

As far as it goes, a great device.
This is a great device for a look into VR. It is not as good as the Samsung VR I got free with my wife's phone, but it is a third the retail cost. One thing that would make this better, add the remote as part of the package for a few more dollars. As it is, there is no remote or even an input button like on the Google Cardboard for just $15 so you have to take the phone out to view a new video and there is no way to play VR games. This is advertised to be used on Android and iOS, however, neither will play games without a remote. On the iOS, only the buttons for music and for shutter of camera will work.

We love these!
Just received these, and we're having a lot of fun with them so far. My i-Phone 6S plus fits great, and there seem to be plenty of VR apps to try for free. It's definitely easier to see when I wear my glasses. No amount of adjusting the headset can compensate for this, and the headset wasn't designed for use while wearing glasses. If you wear contacts you will have a better experience. My only "complaint", and I say "complaint" with quotes because it's mostly a minor nuisance, is that you adjust the view by turning dials on each of the eye pieces inside the headset. There is no way to do this while you are wearing the headset. A minor inconvenience for something that's soooo freakin' cooool!!!!!

Not too bad
It works with my LG G4(5,5").The straps are hard to adjust properly and the whole thing is a bit heavy. There is foam all around, except where your nose touches the glasses, which makes it very uncomfortable, and if you bring the lenses closer together ,they touch your nose aswell. My solution was to tape a small piece of foam where the nose stays in the glasses and it fixes all comfort issues. The lenses are cheap, flimsy, but surprizingly when I put my phone and played a VR Game, everything was sharp and I didn't have any complains with picture quality, now obviously that will highly depend on the resolution of your phone. If your phone has less than 2560x1440 resolution,I do not recommend VR at all.One thing to note, the glasses don't have an action button like the original cardboard,so you need to buy a bluetooth gamepad in order to be able to press stuff in some games. However, there are a lot of games that only require you to look at something for 1-2 seconds it it selects it automatically,it is just a bit more convenient with a bluetooth controller.

Great headset but no QR Code
This is a great headset. Very comfortable on your head thanks to the large foam padding. My Nexus 6P with its case fits in very easily with room to spare.Unlike the Google Cardboard headsets, there's no button for you to make selections once once the phone is inside the headset, so I've got a controller on the way.One small gripe I have is the lack of a QR code to sync the headset with the VR apps that need it.Luckily, the last headset I used had a QR code and that seems to be a good match for the headset (Virtoba V2 Cardboard in case anyone is wondering. I've also heard Fiit VR is a good match as well)All in all, it's a great headset and worth the money if you're willing to play with QR Codes to get a good sync.

Well worth the money.
This is a great headset. My Nexus 6P including case fitted inside without issue. There is a foam dot that holds the phone to the face-plate nice and securely. The head straps are comfy and easy to adjust. The foam around the headset is comfy and there is a bit to put in to avoid getting dust & dirt on the lenses when not in use.Setting the lenses is easy enough too. There is even a micro-fibre cloth for cleaning the lenses should you get fingerprints on the lenses.

Great entry level headset
Ok, so I recently purchased the Google Cardboard headset priced at around £13, and was instantly hooked. As an entry level headset, it was a good buy. However it is basic, in the sense that you cannot adjust focus or pupil distance. This headset allows you to do both of these things, meaning that any text within a game or movie doesn't appear blurred, causing eye strain in order to focus when reading. This is a massive improvement in this regard, and is worth the extra cash if you're considering buying your first vr headset. I wish I'd bought this one first off, as within hours of using the Google Cardboard headset, I was already looking to upgrade, because there are some awesome inspiring apps out there that deserve a quality headset to experience them through. There are no doubt many more advanced headsets available out there, but if you're looking to get a cheap first headset, with better functionality than other entry level devices, then I'd recommend this one.
