Pioneer DMH-WT8600NEX 1-DIN Digital Media Receiver 10.1 inches Display (Renewed)

The media could not be loaded. I am happy with my purchase. It came 13 days early. I was told that it wouldn't fit my 2002 Suburban but it works for me just fine. They say that the shifter would hit the screen. Mine doesn't unless it's loose. I don't know.

Installed this radio in my truck and it really wasn’t all that hard to hook up, had to bring it to a shop and pay them to hook up the vss wire ( vehicle speed sensor wire) since apple car play now makes you hook it up to use CarPlay wirelessly. Love the radio and all the features it gives by no means is there really a problem with it. But I will tell you right now not to do business with Sound of Tri-State. The radio I purchased through them was defective and had a plug in the back that would not work. Told them about it and tried fixing the problem through them and Amazon both but I did not get a refund for close to 8 weeks, 1400$ that you can’t use nor get another radio in that amount of time is ridiculous and wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Also had to pay with my money to send it back to them, and get hit with a restocking fee, honestly worst purchase I’ve ever had online. I did buy another but this time through a radio shop in my town and I really enjoy the radio, very fast connecting and playing music. I would recommend the radio but do not buy it online is my advice and especially do not trust Sound of tri state.

Expected more from pioneer at this price point. The screen is pretty good, but the screen touch sensitivity could be a little better.

I’ve owned the DMH-WT8600NEX for about 3 years now and the wireless CarPlay has simply never worked correctly. It might connect once every 20 or 30 attempts.Been waiting years for a firmware update and they finally released one a few months back. It’s even specifically supposed to address the wireless CarPlay issues which was promising. Still doesn’t work.If I only spent a few hundreds bucks, it honestly wouldn’t bother me too much. But this thing is marketed as “top of the line” and a “flagship” product. It’s not unreasonable to expect all features to work on a $1,500 head unit.Touch screen is not great. Constantly misses touches and isn’t accurate. The response time is much more laggy than should be acceptable.

The screen has died twice on this in less than three years.
