an EXCELLENT LEARNING KIT
This is a perfect kit for learning how to identify components, learn how to solder and learn the basics of the logic that is used in all digital computer devices.

Online instructions have an error on LED placement
This circuit board was great for practicing through-hole soldering with several dozen connections to make. However the online instruction (no paper instructions) had an incorrect diagram that showed the anode was the positive terminal on the LED, when the anode is the negative terminal. I wired the LEDs following this instruction and none worked, causing me to have to desolder all of the LEDs and reverse them. It was good practice but frustrating nonetheless.

Great soldering practice.
I purchased this to build with my kids. It took about 2.5 hours to complete the build, and everything worked the first time. This is great soldering practice for those who need it!

Good practice kit, erroneous instructions (LED orientation is incorrect)
If you follow the online instructions exactly, this will NOT work! There is an error in the orientation of the LEDs. Instructions say the "Anode goes in the square pad on the board." This incorrect. The Cathode goes there. It's kind of a serious error as nothing will work as instructed. As a practice kit for soldering, this is great. For learning logic gates, it's OK too.
