if i'm wrapping the material around the frame instead of weaving, what do you use to hold the plastic in place?

I can tell you that I used a hot glue gun and in Arizona it did not hold due to the heat. You can try to use a hot glue but if your in a hot climate it may not hold. This is my experience .
