didn't last 6 months
not exposed to elements, completely covered on the back porch. pretty to look at, but it is only accurate twice a day. no longer keeps time, even with BRAND NEW batteries. Not worth the money.

Nice Large Numbers
Great looking clock. Numbers are easy to read from any part of the deck. Obviously at 12" the temp and humidity need to be read closer up. I like the smooth sweeping second hand. Temp and humidity are fairly accurate. (I have a digital sensor near it for my indoor atomic clock with temperature gauge) This picture is taken after being outside for almost 12 months. It doesn't get a lot of direct rain or sun but it's held up very well. Still the original battery. Great value and a stylish clock.

First clock sent did not run for long but Foxtop Customer Service came through with a replacement
Original Review: Ran fine for a couple days and then just stops running every other day or so, even with brand new batteries installed. Was a complete waste of money!!! Updated Review: Reached out to Foxtop about faulty unit and they are sending a replacement...customer service [ Claire :-) ] was huge help in resolving the issue. I don't have the new unit yet so I won't be able to update on performance until I get it and it runs for long enough to call it a good fix. Will update again then...

Is not in any way waterproof or moisture proof
I purchased this clock to put on my Covered, screened in porch. It would be on the brick wall of my house 11’ from the screened wall. It was never in any way wet or even close to being wet from rain at all. It never kept the time, ever. I emailed the seller to say it would not keep time, they said to buy a different battery, energizers were not good for it. Yhat was a lie, no battery I used worked in this clock. I would set the time and the next day it was off an hour, by the end of the week, it was just way off! I messaged the seller again, they said try a new battery. By the time I tried 5 different brands and types, it was past the time of return. I will never buy from them again, and they obviously do not stand by their product. I bought a $5 clock from Walmart that has kept perfect time on the same brick wall for 6 months!! Do not buy this clock if you need it to be outside!

The batteries are an issue, they say.
If one uses a standard Alkaline battery, it is said that the clock mechanism will be harmed and so only Carbon-Zinc batteries (hard to find, short shelf life, short useful life) must be used to ensure accuracy of the clock. Used only Zinc batteries and the clock uses them up in about 2-3 months and then fails to show a correct time. Most of these outdoor walk clocks with temperature displays in a good size ALL show the battery warning labels but this carefully-fitted one seems faulty, after about 6 months. No recommendations - it is a crap-shoot out there.
