Tastes so sweet. Is there any sugar or sweeteners added?

No sugar added. The sweet flavor comes from the bland of these natural ingredients. Mostly this product is based with: Aniseed 40% , fennel seed 20% and licorice root. All 3 of them are naturally sweet and aromatic but with great beneficial properties!!! Sorry for my late reply .

Is this caffeine free?

The box says "Naturally caffeine-free..." Ingredients are: aniseed, fennel, cardamom, celery seed, licorice root, coriander seed. Box also says, 'for more information on the ingredients in this tea please go to www.pukkaherbs.com/FAQ"

Does this have a laxative in it? I really love the scent but don't want tummy turmoil.

Not that I'm aware of! I got it for detoxing. I was looking for cardamom. No tummy trouble just soothing.
