Both devices give inaccurate readings. Also, both devices are calibrated differently. One is off by 11-12 RH and the other by about 7-8 RH. Don't waste your money.

Got it to monitor temperature and humidity in theatre room as projectors heats up. Temperature works but humidity on both is just rubbish, one didn't even work from the box

One of the two received was not working. I changed battery but still it doesn't work.

Item looks great and well made clear and visible reading

I placed both of these in my my humidor, and each is off by about 4-6% from the other. I don't expect each to read identically, but they're inaccurate. They're much higher than the dial-style hygrometer I use. Temperature readings are ok within 2 degrees of each other, but the humidity readings on these are too high. My dial hygrometer reads 73%; one of these reads 87%, the other 83%. I'll stick with the good ol'fashioned dial.
