can you load tracks onto third and fourth channels or are those just for extra equipment?

Yes, you can play 4 songs simultaneously without any additional equipment. The only advantage of having additional equipment is you'll have complete control over all 4 songs at the same time. Without additional equipment, you'll have complete control over 2 songs together and limited control over the other 2 songs. i.e you'll only be able to use the middle mixer section to control the additional tracks that aren't selected on your decks. Will this controller work with Virtual DJ 8?

Yes. It works very well with VDJ Pro

Can I hook up external input (turntable) and still be able to record on Rekordbox, or can Rekordbox only record digital decks on the software?

You can connect turntables to the controller. I have two turntables connected and record my records into Rekordbox DJ. No issues at all.

I am ordering from a European country, will the unit be 110 or 220v if purchased here ?

The US version is made with a 120V power supply.
