For the people who has bought it 6 months ago, please can you advise if the colour changes on the matel part? It looks like it turns dark

I have only hand washed mine and it looks the same as the day I bought it. The listing specifically said to hand wash. It does contain some nickel as well as stainless. Dishwasher/detergent might have turned it black. But it still works great, right? I don’t even peel the cloves first anymore. Love it!

Obviously, not totally stainless steel; what part(s) of the press is/are stainless?

It seems to me to be all stainless steel. Best garlic press I've ever owned.

Can you buy just the inside tray? Mine cracked after a few uses...
