Small and works nicely
I picked this up to replace a larger, bulkier cabled smartcard reader. Nothing against that other smartcard reader, as it works well, but this one travels easier. I travel 10-12 days per month and I do need to utilize my smartcard upon occasion (and the Surface doesn't have a reader built in).I will say that I haven't utilized any of the other media reader functionality of this, so I really cannot speak to that, but the size and the fact that it reads my smartcard without issue makes this a great gadget at a great price.

Muy práctico y realmente portable. Construcción algo endeble.
Para la lectura del DNIe va muy bién. Es recomendable usar el Internet Explorer incluso en Windows 10 (hay que buscarlo en la línea del cortana para que no salte el nuevo Edge, que no lo soporta).Con otros sistemas o navegadores, hay que instalar los certificados raiz de la FNMT (visitar sede del dnie), actualizar el java a la última versión y otorgar una serie de permisos que no es fácil encontrar.Es bastante tedioso hacerlo, sobretodo cuando se comprueba que los certificados del Gobierno Español están marcados como de NO-confianza por todos los navegadores y a uno le entran dudas sobre la seguridad de la identidad de uno. Si se confia en ellos, el DNI funcionará sin problemas.La aleta plástica que se supone que protege el terminal USB es una tomadura de pelo y se la podrían haber ahorrado.Funciona bién en iMac/Macbook pro, y en Windows 10, que son mis sistemas.PS:Como alternativa al sistema del DNIe, se pueden pedir certificados digitales en las administraciones del Estado. Se piden telemáticamente (busquen por internet "certificado CERES") pero hay que personarse en las oficinas de la Administración para acreditar la identidad real antes de poderlos descargar. Va muchísimo mejor que el DNIe (ni java ni plugins ni nada), sirven para lo mismo y encima se pueden usar para encriptar y/o autenticar el correo electrónico, a parte que se pueden copiar en tablets y smartphones, y poder tramitar temas de la Administración desde allí.

aber mit der Plug &Play Funktion kann man nur die SD Karten Slots auslesen. Für die weitere Verwendung der Chipkarten war eine weitere Installation einer Software erforderlich. Hierfür habe ich mir den Chipcardmaster installiert, mit dem er alle Karten erkennt und mir die Inhalte anzeigt. Bankkarte; Guthaben der Geldkarte, Krankenkarte und Fahrerkarte, wobei ich hier die vollständige Fahrerdaten, Arbeitszeit, Ruhezeit und Lenkzeit anzeigen lassen kann, die auf der Karte gespeichert sind. Durch das Auslesen der Sim Karte ist die Übernahme der Daten auf eine 2te neue Sim Karte sehr einfach, da man den Inhalt einfach auf der Festplatte abspeichern, editieren und neu aufspielen kann
