Each card has several words on it. So more involving per card. This makes each card more involving/challenging but prevents using a system for learning each word, like the five-fold method (one word per card).

There is lots and lots of vocabulary covered in this set, so even if you are not using it to pass an exam you will find plenty that is useful. It is helpfully organised into topics, with 20-30 words roughly per card, there’s a lot for you to learn. The cards seem quite strong enough - slightly larger than a pack of playing cards and about as robust as a normal deck of cards. Only slight issue is that, with so much information per card, the text is quite small.

I bought these for my 14 year old daughter who has her Spanish GCSE this year. She has missed 30% of school due to a health problem so she has a lot of catching up to do. These have helped her revision massively. She hasn’t needed to make her own flash cards. These allow us to test her as well. They have really helped. She has just got a ‘B’ (6) on her mock and she is predicted an A (7) for her GCSE. Proof is in the pudding!
