Very nice book for kids aged above 7

Bought for my five year old grandson, and he is enjoying being read a few chapters before bed.

These books are really wonderful. They are interesting to read, funny and sarcastic at times. My daughter is 7 and an advanced reader. We now have about 20 of these books and they are superb, the range of adventures geronimo and his team have had and the different places and things they have done are incredible. She will happily read chapter books but these are so fun and enjoyable that she always returns to them for pure enjoyment and delight. If you want to find out about things that are 'fabu-mouse' or occasional 'CAT-astrophes' this is the book for your kids. My daughter started reading them when she was 6 and I can imagine they will keep her busy for another year or so (I now buy most of them secondhand from amazon.com as they are really popular in the states and so more are available cheaply- this becomes important when you start to buy them in the quantities we now need! I have just ordered 15 more!). It might be that the first few will not grab their attention, but after a while as they get to know the characters it will feel very different. We are now reading the Kingdom of fantasy series and the cavemice ones and along with Thea Stilton, there is plenty to keep most kids interested. To get a taste, try and look inside the first few pages of the books to fully appreciate how they are written.
