Solgar Extra Strength Glucosamine Chondroitin Complex, 150 Tablets

This product was recommended to me by my orthopedic surgeon and has helped me for more than 15 years. I don't know what I would do without it. I take 2 tablets per day (morning and evening), more if in severe pain which actually rarely happens now. The product is expensive but worth it. Highly recommend it. I wanted to add - this is the only product in the world with 1500 mg sodium Chondroitin Sulfate, 1500 Glucosamine Sulfate (an equal quantity of each which is very important according to my orthopedic surgeon). I searched high and low and could not find any product anywhere in the world that comes even close to its strength. It seems expensive but 300 tablets of this strength last a long time as only one or 2 tablets are needed to be taken per day due to its strength. So thank you Solgar for that.

Recommended product relieves pain

Great product!

I started using this product years ago before "glucosamine" was the buzz product. I had tried all kinds of remedies for tennis elbow. Cortisone injections didn't last. My orthopedic surgeon was ready to do surgery. Someone recommended I try this, which I did even though the surgeon dismissed the idea as silly. Two months of full dosage and I was totally healed of the tennis elbow. I take this every day. After knee surgery another surgeon informed me that the belief is now that every adult should be taking a maintenance dose of this complex. When I have a joint problem flare up, I take full dosage for a month or two, then back to one per day maintenance. Both my kids are runners and when they don't take this their knees hurt. There are plenty of other brands, but I know the Solgar works extremely well for me and is the right combination of glucosamine and chondroitin. I have recommeneded it to many friends who have discovered it helps them quit aching too!

This product was good. Good quality and effective, and it's getting hard to find a decent one without MSM. That said, the comparable product from NOW brands that I tried afterward put it to shame.
