I have a Specialized Stump Jumper that came with Butcher Grid tyres.I run tubeless and after a good innings with the Butchers the rear finally succumbed to a flint inflicted gash.Game over for those bad boys with a whopping 3" of traction. So I thought I'd try something different on the rear this time. And I'm glad I did. These still have shed loads of traction but offer a lot less rolling resistance on the asphalt before I get off-road.There's high praise for the new tech in adding extra protection on the side walls and against flint and other jagged materials. I guess the proof is in the riding. If you don't hear from me again, I have either not had any bad experiences on these, or I have gone off the side of a mountain with a thud.

Faulty Bead
On a ride today the bead where it seals inside against the rim tore along a joint and the tyre immediately deflated nearly causing an accident. I do not ride extreme terrain or drops etc and I believe the failure was due to a fault in construction. The damage could not be seen until the tyre was removed as it was against the inside of the rim which again had not suffered any impact. I run between 30-35psi so the tyre is not over inflated. I was happy with the tyres performance prior to this but after just 5 months of light use (Winter!) and the nature of the fault, I am very disappointed.

Great item, poor luck
Item had hundreds of micro holes on both sides of the tyre wall.A quick online search showed this was a manufacturer defect.I appreciate this is hard for sellers to detectOtherwise the item is a great item

Long live the king
This bad boy! rolls faster than a chain smoker and grips better than mufasa. Don’t buy any other junk. This is where we at! (Mic drop)
