Delicious coffee!
I'm very pleased with this coffee. This is the first time I've tried this brand and I feel it's a good quality. It's not too acidic and has a nice smooth body. I'm happy i can order it instead of trying to find Tanzanian coffee in stores. I will order this brand again and the price is reasonable.

Great Product! Gamer Approved!
I’ve now tried four different roasts from Volcanica Coffee Company, and each one has offered something unique. I've brewed all of them using my Chemex, standard pour-over, and French press setups. Across the board, these beans have been fresh, aromatic, and consistently better than anything store-bought.The Costa Rica Tarrazu has been my favorite so far - smooth, clean, and vibrant, with a nicely balanced citrus brightness and a touch of sweetness. It’s an easy 5/5 and one I could easily see as my daily brew. The Ethiopian Yirgacheffe stands out with its bright, fruity, and floral profile. It makes for a clean, complex cup that’s perfect when I want something a bit more lively and layered. The Bolivia Peaberry was rich and full-bodied, with a deeper, more nuanced flavor. I may have received an older bag, but it still tasted great. A little pricier than the others, but worth it if you're looking for something different. The Mexican Medium Roast was smooth, balanced, and slightly nutty with a mild sweetness. It’s mellow and easy to drink, perfect for a more traditional daily cup. Here’s my current ranking based on taste and overall experience:1. Costa Rica Tarrazu2. Ethiopian Yirgacheffe3. Bolivia Peaberry4. Mexican Medium RoastI'm Excited to try more from Volcanica soon. Highly recommend their whole-bean options if you're looking to step up your home brewing game.

Its decent but not spectacular
This was a pleasant smooth medium roast with medium sweetness and mild acidity. It reminds me of dried figs with a slight citrus finish. It wasnt spectacular but not bad either. I wished it had aroma but it was roasted 2 months ago. Used aeropress with 20g just slight finer than pour a pour over coarse ground setting, with 200gm or ml hot water (i have no clue what the temperature is), bloom 30 secs then brew 3mins tops. I find it more pleasant dilluting and extra 100ml hot water. Took a few tries to dial in this recipe but my first time brewing a peabody.

Amazingly smooth!
These coffee beans are the real deal! They made the smoothest tasting cup of coffee I have ever brewed. I will definitely be buying more of them. They are a little pricey compared to others, but they are worth it IMHO. I use an OXO 9 cup cone brewer with the stainless steel insulated carafe.

An excellent bean.
The best coffee bean I have tried so far. Whether I use my french press or do it yourself Keurig k-cup maker, I get a great cup of coffee that tastes great , smooth with a great finish. I grind my own coffee so I can adjust the grind to not over extract flavor. I drink it black, no need to add anything. Also, it appears to lower in acid than other beans so that's great form my stomach.Yes, it's a bit pricey but well worth the extra money to get an excellent cup of coffee.

Not fresh roasted
Good coffee, but recently the beans I've been receiving from Amazon have been old. Latest one was 44 days since roasting, not exactly "Fresh Roasted".

Good taste
I received beans that were about roasted about 1 mo ago, which means it’s past the prime peak for its flavor and aroma but still tastes really good. For the amount and price, I’m very satisfied

If it wasn't for the bitter rancid taste, it would have no taste at all.
I have ordered Tanzania Peaberry in the past. It has always been fine. Not this time. The beans were the correct size. However, they were pale brown and looked very dry, not oily. When I first opened the bag, The aroma was fantastic. I was looking forward to a great cup of coffe. I ground it on medium using my burr grinder; I used a V60 filter; I used 20 g of beans for 320 g of water just off the boil. I bloomed the coffee for 60 seconds using 100g of water; the remaining water was added in two more batches. I know how to make coffee. The first hint of trouble was when I held it to my nose to smell. There was none of the original aroma. The taste was thin, bitter and VERY rancid. I didn't believe it could be that bad. I adjusted the grind, moved to a Melita #2 filter and retried. Same result. It was disgusting.I went back to bag. By now all that lucious original aroma was gone. It now smelled like it tasted. Rancid. It was roasted on 4-11-25. It is now 6-2-25. The beans were not THAT old.If your goal is a smooth cup of coffee with great depth of flavor, stay away. This qickly was eating a hole in my stomach. The Peaberry I get from my local WinCo is fresher and more flavorful. At any price point, much less Volcanica's higher price, the coffee is a rip off.
