Can the sound be turned off?

You can turn the oven off, a low volume and a high volume.

Can I buy any replacement parts?

cant find where to put the batteries on the oven

Would this work well as a toy oven/kitchen set without using the battery-operated features?

My granddaughter (who will be 2 in January) has had a LOT of fun with the play food, pans, etc. that come with the oven. She also uses the oven and sometimes activates the sounds, but I think it’s a great toy with or without batteries.
