Does this work well on carpet?

This is not good on carpet. I am 160lbs on short berber carpet. After 18 months of use, the mat is full of cracks and chipped out holes as to be useless.

Does it ship flat in the box or roll up?

It does ship rolled up. Comes in a narrow box and will need to be flattened. I recommend placing heavy flat items on the corners for a few days.

It will work on low pile carpet with out too much effort rolling around. Though I'm looking for something firmer....
