When even short kiddie rods have ceramic guide inserts - this rod has olden times stainless steel, I think.

Very nice rod. Solid and holds its shape when extended. I had a Kastking extendable rod but the tip fell off and KastKing wouldn't honor their lifetime warranty, so I bought this to replace it. Love it so far, and the KastKing is now in the trash. Thanks for a great rod, Zebco!
