There is a lag, from when I slide the button till it turns on, I'm not sure if it's a defect or its just like that. It stopped working completely once then worked again

I bought this trimmer for my younger brother, as he wanted to start cutting hair. He has been using it religiously every cut now for about 2 months and says it really helps out tremendously when lining before fading. As a barber, I’ve used a lot of trimmers, and this one is the BEST MONEY CAN BUY. The GoldFX blade it comes with is insanely sharp and gives the cleanest, crispest lines straight out of the box—no modifications needed (but be careful because it is sharp). If you want to talk about debulking, these will cut through hair, thick or think, like butter. I've personally have had a gold fx blade for over a year and it still hits like the day I got it. It’s easy to handle, fits perfectly in your hand, and the grip makes it effortless to use from any angle around the head. The build quality is excellent—solid, durable, and reliable through daily use. The battery life is great, and it comes with everything you need: charger, blade guard, oil, and a brush. What’s also nice is how customizable it is. You can swap out blades, grips, and even upgrade the battery if you want to—but honestly, the default setup is already top-tier. The gold finish gives it a premium look, although it does scratch easily, so just keep that in mind. If you’re serious about clean lines and quality tools, this is the one, you'd never regret.
