If I understand right you're asking if you can lock the SIM card it's an SD card and yes you can when it's in the big adapter hope that helped

At some point the item must have changed, yet is still listed under the same product number and description. As of today, June 5, 2018, the picture shows an adapter, and the product name & description say it includes the adapter. I'm sure 2017 customers know whether or not they received an adapter, but as of now, the adapter appears to be included, which I would have expected.
